The One That Got Away {MariChat}

The Truth

"I have to tell you the truth about me." Marinette looked at Chat with a confused and worried look on her face.

"Is this going to get me in trouble?" Marinette said jokingly to her love.

Chat now had a very serious expression on his face.

"No, i'm being serious."

"Oh? This is a change, are you OK?" Marinette started to giggle that made Chat feel all warm inside.

"Mari! I'm really serious!"

Chat stood up and put his hands on Marinette's face. Marinette stopped giggling and looked at Chat with a friendly look. She new she was being childish but she couldn't help it. It was usually Chat who was the silly one and Marinette the serious one. maybe the trip changed them?

"Please Mari. I have to tell you something."

Marinette kissed Chat on the lips and looked at him lovingly.

"You can tell me anything, you know that right?"

"Of course i do. Actually, i'v been wanting to tell you this for a long time."

Chat rubbed the back of his head.

"You see...I'm kind of......Adrien."

"What?....Pfft. Ah Adrien is in Paris with his father doing Photo shoots."

"Wait hold on ill be back."

While Marinette watched Chat go back into the dark, she thought He's joking, although he did look pretty serious? You know what, i'll just call him. 

Mari pulled out her phone from her pocket and started to dial Adrien. Chat detransformed and green light filled the room.\. He noticed Mari was on her phone.

"Mari? What are you doing?"

"I'm calling him."

"OK, if you must."

Chat waited until Marinette pressed call. A minute later she heard a phone ringing from where Chat was hiding. Chat came out of the shadows with his phone in his hand.

"Hello?" 

Marinette couldn't believe it, she dropped the phone and just stood in amazement because there standing in front of her, was ADRIEN! ADRIEN AGRESTE! The boy she left behind in Paris along with Alya and the others was now standing in front of her.

"Oh...My....God!" Marinette said as she placed her hand over her mouth. She couldn't believe what she was seeing, the love of her life turned into the crush of her life!

"A......Adrien? It.....it was you the....the WHOLE time?!" Marinette started to cry. With tears rolling down her pale cheeks she watched as the boy came closer.

"Are you disappointed it was me?" Adrien said to Mari as she shook her head sideways.

"The why are you crying my love?"

Marinette just stood there in awe as she stared into these glowing emerald eyes that were staring into her sparkling bluebell eyes. Marinette started to giggle and ran up to Adrien and hugged him. Once she wrapped her arms around him, she started to really cry, so much that Adrien's t shirt would get soaked.

"Princess are you OK?"

"Oh Adrien....I'm SO happy that it's you! Now i can love all of you knowing both your identities. I love you so much!"

"I love you too Princess."
