It was now the day before Kurt would have to leave and he didn't want to spend a single moment away from Blaine. In the morning, Kurt brought Blaine with him to go shopping for things he would need on his trip. Meanwhile, a rainstorm started to build up quickly. They checked out and walked outside as it started raining.
"Kurt, I don't see any taxis," Blaine said when they walked around.
"Me either. My place is close, just like three, four blocks away," Kurt suggested.
"Yeah. Let's just go back to your place," Blaine said wrapping his arms around Kurt to try to keep both of them warm. The temperature felt like it had dropped a few degrees due to the cold rain. The rain had quickened to almost a downpour as they were nearing Kurt's apartment building, so they walked faster when it was in their view.
"We are almost there," Kurt shivered out. The duo was so glad to get out of the rain.
"Kurt, uh. I don't want to get sick so do you think I could borrow some clothes?" Blaine asked shyly.
"Sure, Blaine,"Kurt answered. When they got to apartment B3, Blaine rushed over to Kurt's room. He started to looked in the closet but decided against it in case Kurt had anything personal. Kurt came in and just threw a pair of his sweats and his Mets t-shirt at Blaine.
"Kurt, isn't this the shirt you bought when you came to that game?" Blaine questioned with a smirk.
"Yea, I thought you might like to wear it," Kurt smiled. Blaine half expected Kurt to leave him ro change, but all he did was sit on the bed facing Blaine. It didn't take long to figure out what he was doing, although it did make Blaine laugh.
When Blaine took off his coat and slowly took off his shirt, Kurt started to whistle Blaine laughed at the boy again as he put the other shirt on.
"I really like this shirt," Blaine admitted. "I might have to take it."
"In your sweet, little dreams," Kurt started. "You could buy your own. You'll probably be able to get a discount. But it does look really hot on you."
Kurt left to give Blaine some privacy. Blaine came out a few minutes later and suggested they just watch movies late into the night.

Blaine stayed the night at Kurt's place to make the most of their time. They ended up having to get up early to pack since they failed to do that the night before.
"Are you ready Kurt?" Blaine asked standing in the doorway of Kurt's bedroom.
"Yes, I'm just going over my mental checklist of things," Kurt mumbled out, staring at his suitcase. "Alright, let's get going. New York traffic is terrible on a Tuesday morning."
They got in a taxi and were on their way to the airport.
"Blaine... Are you sure you can't come with me?" Kurt asked laying his head on Blaine's shoulder.
"Kurt, like I told you before I would if I could," Blaine replied. He grabbed Kurt's hand. "But you may never know what will happen."
Kurt just looked confused and Blaine thought that maybe he said too much. Blaine kissed Kurt before turning to look outside. He still hasn't seen much of the city yet.
They arrived at the airport after almost an hour. Kurt got check in and was just waiting at the security check with Blaine. Kurt felt tears coming and tried to hold them back, but Blaine heard the sniffling.
"Are you alright?" Blaine questioned putting his arm around Kurt.
"No." Kurt whispered. "The last time I was here, at this airport, I was going back to California with Elliott. It was sixteenth birthday and I wanted to him to see how his older brother lived. He didn't love the city as much as I did, said it was too busy for him." Kurt started to cry even more. "I miss him Blaine. Who would be capable of doing such a thing?"
