Momma

You were always there, you just always were; you were an inspiration, especially to her.

That her is me and forever will be, you aren't gone because you're within me. You're the reflection in the mirror that I see, you're the one staring back at me. Everyone loves you, including me. And someday, I know you will return to me.

Every three that I see, I think of you watching over me; I know you're smiling but I can't see; I know I love you and you love me.

You gave me kisses when I cried, you gave me hugs before goodbyes. I remember you having to walk me halfway to school because I was so scared and shy.

I was just a baby bird learning to fly when you stepped by my side and helped me rise. I love you to pieces, til the day I die. There's no reason for a goodbye because- my love- you'll be soaring in the sky.

I hope you rest and rest with ease...

From daughter to mother...
