Later on, RILEY is calm and has put her relationship troubles out of her mind. She's sitting at the dinner table with SHAWN, MAYA, and KATY. KATY and MAYA have to leave. KATY kisses SHAWN on the cheek to say goodbye. RILEY watches them happily. After KATY and MAYA leave, RILEY turns back to SHAWN, who is still smiling happily. She suddenly asks for advice.
RILEY: Do you regret ever dating anyone that wasn't Katy?
SHAWN: (taken aback, seriously thinks about the question) I... do. All of my high school relationships were wrong. I regret them all... except Angela. Angela taught me what a real relationship was supposed to be like. I loved her.
RILEY: (ever a romantic, she smiles) She taught you what love is?
SHAWN: (shakes his head) No, Cory and Topanga did that.
RILEY considers this.
