GLOW

Slowly did she trail behind the moving file,
Extinguished was her lamp, sullen for a while,

When i recognized her face, thus to her i spoke,
Why have you abandoned me? And joined these folks,

Mindless is my misery, you have gone away,
Was this my love's reward? Or your betray,

Seeing me in agony, the child turned to me,
And in soft accents, he did answered my plea,

Showing me her extinguished lamp, she then inquires,
Do you know what has quenched this? My little fire?

What has happened to my lamp? Do you want to know?
Your tears quenched it's flame, robbed it off it's glow!
