(Carson Henderson Above)
(Saturday Afternoon – Evening)
Carson's POV
We all hung out until most of the shops closed in the mall, then we decided to leave. Rachel told Kyle and I that she was going to hang with Amy and Emily for while, which left Kyle and I both disappointed as we watched the girls we liked walk away with Emily. I sighed and turned around. Kyle was already in his car. "Hey, Eli! You coming?" Kyle yelled. Eli spun around and chuckled. "Depends on what we're doing." he said. Kyle placed his hand over his heart. "Oh, I get it. So if I was doing something you found boring, you'd bypass me." he exclaimed, making a scene in the parking lot of the mall. I laughed as Eli glared at Kyle. "Come on, Eli. Just get in. It's not like you've got any other way home. Emily took your car." Kyle said. Eli's eyes almost shot out of their sockets. "She what?" he yelled. I laughed harder as Eli started looking around for his missing car, but looked back to us in despair. "This is the second time this week." he said. Kyle shook his head, muffling a laugh, and started the car. Eli knew he didn't have a choice, so a minute later, he's sitting in the back seat. "Thanks for joining the Kyle Express. Please keep all hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times." Kyle said in a low voice, which made Eli and I crack up.
After a car ride full of jokes and many annoying puns by Kyle, we finally arrived at our house. Eli, Kyle and I made our way up to my room, not being able to keep in much laughter. Lisa and Samuel didn't seem to be home, since it was really quiet. This might seem weird, but they make the most noise when the family is home. They're always laughing or singing at the top of their lungs, not to mention the dancing. "So, what do you want to do?" Eli asked. I shrugged. "How about we talk about stuff?" I suggested. "Yuck," exclaimed Kyle, who was sprawled out on my previously neat. "That's what girls do." he whined. I rolled my eyes. "I imagine you as the perfect kindergartener, with all the whining and moaning. I bet you were scared of cooties when you were a kid." I said. He grinned at me. "You know me so well, Carson!" he exclaimed in a girly voice. I laughed so hard I fell over. Eli was bent over, clutching his stomach in laugher and I was rolling around the floor. Kyle was rolling around on my bed, which resulted in Kyle falling on top of me.
"Ah!" I groaned, pushing Kyle off of me. "Oops, sorry. I didn't know I was that heavy." he said with a chuckle. I rolled my eyes. "Okay, let's talk like Carly here wanted," he said, gesturing to me. I rolled my eyes and got back up on the bed. "While – playing video games!" he exclaimed. We all cheered in agreement then picked out a video games. We all sat at the end of my bed, facing the TV. The TV was a recent development, something about not having enough space for it in the study. Not that I was complaining! Having my own TV has been great. We played for a while until Eli started talking. "So – you and Amy, huh?" he said, nudging Kyle in the rib. Kyle chuckled. "What about us?" he asked. Eli rolled his eyes. "Are you dating her yet?" he asked. I cried out in joy as I took a life from Kyle. He frowned at me. "Perfect distraction, huh?" he asked. I shrugged and carried on playing. "So, are you and Amy dating?" I asked as well. He sighed. "Well, I haven't officially asked her out, but we're almost like a couple anyway. Do you think I should talk to her about it, because she hasn't approached me about it?" he asked us. I smiled. "I think you should, dude. Besides, you're the guy, you should ask her out." I said. "Yeah, and you know how shy Amy is. It's not like she'd come ask you out." Eli said. Kyle shrugged.
