(Carson and Rachel above)
Carson's POV – (Wednesday Evening)
I arrived back home at 5:45, just enough time for me to get ready. I had been running around and I was in bad need of a shower.
I rushed my shower and quickly got dressed. I wore a light blue button up shirt and dark denim jeans, along with boots.
I ran my fingers through my hair and looked at my reflection in the mirror.
Lookin' good.
I smiled and grabbed my jacket, in case it got cold, and walked over to Rachel's room. I had already organised with Samuel that I would use his car to get to where I would be asking Rachel and all I had to do was pay for the gas.
I knocked on her door and waited, my hands shoved in my jean's pockets.
I heard a few shuffles and then the door opened and I couldn't hide the smile that crept up onto my lips.
She looked so beautiful.
She had her hair in a low, loose ponytail and she wore a chequered button up shirt that looked really good on her, along with a cute pink skirt and blue converses.
"Hey," she smiled. I smiled back.
"Hey, you ready?" I asked her, nodding toward her room.
She rushed inside her room and grabbed her purse.
"Now, I'm ready." she beamed. I laughed and held my arm out for her to take.
She took it and we walked down the stairs, past the kitchen and through the living room to get to the front door.
"Bye, Mom! Bye, Dad!" Rachel yelled just before we shut the front door.
They yelled their goodbye's and we shut the door. We rushed to Sam's car and drove off.
"So, where are we going?" she asked me.
I chuckled and looked at her for a spilt second before looking back to the road.
"I'm not telling you, that defeats the element of surprise." I teased and tried to keep my eyes on the road.
Key word being 'tried'.
She pouted, but soon chirped up when she heard a certain song come on the radio. She squealed and turned it up. I laughed.
Shake it off
Shake it off
I, I
I shake it off
