LXVI

that night we laid on my floor
while you held my hands
and through my tears i found
something new behind your eyes

i saw the sun and the moon
i visited every galaxy
that has ever been imagined
and those i could never dream of

as i watched my universe unfold
in your pupils i understood
that i was destined to love you
from the beginning of time
and in that moment i swear
i found god.
