Chapter 6

Annie's POV:
Katie and her brothers went home yesterday and Kayla got back from her trip. Through last week I ignored Brennan and he tried to get my attention but I just didn't really want to talk to him.

Brennan's POV:
Kayla just got back and she said she wanted to see me so she's coming over. I'm really nervous because well, I don't know if I like her any more. "Hey Brennan!" Kayla said as I opened the door. "Hey." I said hugging her. "Can we go to your room?" She asked I said yes and we walked to my room, after I got in there she closed the door and locked it then went and sat on my bed. "What do you want to talk about?" I asked not sitting down. "Why don't you come sit down." Kayla jesters to a spot next to her. I took it and she leaned in and kissed me. I didn't feel anything, not a spark like I felt with Annie. So I pulled away. "Is something wrong?" Kayla asked. I just looked at her. "Your acting different, normally you love our make out sessions." She said and I looked down. "No, I'm not acting different. I just don't think." I couldn't Finnish. "You don't think what?" She asked. "Well I think I like Annie." I said and she got red. "What?" Kayla yelled. "Look I just don't feel a spark with you, and I feel one with Annie." I said. "So you kissed her?" She asked getting more angry. "You probably kissed a boy where you were." I said. "Yeah I did." She said just staring at me. "I'm sorry but I'm done with you, I'm breaking up with you." I said. "Yeah and I'm breaking up with you." She said and walked out of my house. "Brennan what did you do to Kayla she slammed the door?" Katie asked while coming into my room. "I just broke up with her." I said and she looked shocked. "Wow that's something I thought you would never do." Katie said and I looked down. "Did something happen between you and Annie?" Katie asked, I was still looking down. "Brennan?" Katie said. "Okay fine be that way." Katie said and went into her room. I just went into my room to.

Annie's POV:
"Hello?" I picked up my phone. "Hey it's Katie." Katie says. "Yeah I know that." I say . "Okay well I have a question, I'm did something happen between you and Brennan?" Katie asked. I started getting nervous so I told her. "Yes something did happen, but it means nothing he has a girlfriend that he loves." I said. "Well it must mean something to him because he just broke up with Kayla." Katie said and I was shocked. "Wow, um, wow." Was all I could say. "Yeah, well anyways see you a practice tomorrow!" Katie said then hung up. I ran down the stairs into the basement to Caleb's room. "Caleb Brennan just broke up with his girlfriend." I said. "Finally." Caleb said. "What?" I asked. "I know something happened between you guys I saw him go up to your room one night when I was in the kitchen and he came down like only 5 minutes after looking disappointed." Caleb said. "Wow." I said. "Yeah he likes you Annie." Caleb said and went back to playing on his computer. I went upstairs and just sat in my room.

Caleb's POV:
I have a plan. I'm gonna invite Brennan over today, because Annie is inviting Katie.

Brennan's POV:
Today I'm goin over to Caleb's house because he invited me. Katie is also going to hang out with Annie. So I get in my car and drive katie and I over to Caleb and Annie's house. We got their in within 10 minutes. And katie walked up and rang the door bell, I was right behind her. Caleb answered the door and we went in. "Hey Caleb." I said. "Hey man." Caleb said and we did the bro hug. "ANNIE!" Katie yelled and Annie came up the stairs from the basement and hugged katie, but she looked at me, I just kept staring at her until Caleb told me to come to his room. We got in their and he closed the door. "You like Annie don't you." Caleb asked. "Yes I do." I just flat out told my best friend that I like his sister. "That's what I thought." Caleb said. "Ya know I think she likes you to." Caleb said.

Annie's POV:
"Annie can we go up to your room?" Katie asked I said okay and we went up their, she closed the door behind us. "You still like Brennan?" She asked. "Well, yeah." I said and looked down. "YES!" Katie yelled. "He likes you too!" Katie said. "Wow, okay." I said. "You should so ask him out." Katie said. "No I'd get too shy." I said. "Plus that's his job." I said. "Wow hard to get, nice." Katie said. Then we went downstairs and the boys were watching TV. "Hey Annie" Brennan said and I totally blushed.
