Chapter 13

Demi

I walked towards the pool and felt someone grab my hand..

- Leave me alone - I said looking at Miley

- Demi, don't be mad at Nick.. - she said looking up at me - he did not slap you on purpose and you know it!

- Ok, but leave me alone.. - I said not wanting to talk to anyone at the moment..

- I can't.. we have a meeting and it's about to start! Don't be the ruiner of a great summer.. we came here to have a great summer.. not to be mad and sad about boys.. for that we had school!

I nodded and looked towards the beach where I could see Nick sitting down talking to Joe and scratching his head

- You are right.. - I finally agreed - Can you please sit beside me?..

She smiled and nodded - Of course sweetie.. don't be so upset.. it's just a boy.. he is not worth the frown..

- He always lets me down in one way or another.. I don't know if I can put up with it Miles.. - I said breathlessly from my heartache

- Demi, I don't know if it's worth the fight if he is hurting you that much... a realtionship should be a happy thing.. not a depressing one.. - Miley said looking away from me

I nodded and walked by her side agreeing with what she was saying.. this wasn't healthy for me.. it was not what I wanted... it seemed like he did nothing but hurt me.. it seemed like he didn't care about my feelings at all..

We walked towards the fire and Nick stood right up to talk to me, but I interrupted him right before he spoke by putting my hand between our faces..

- Let her be Jonas.. - Miley said while I sat down in a log

- Demi.. I just wanna appologise.. I..

He stopped talking when he realized I wasn't even acknowledging him and it wasn't worth it for him to talk.

- Hum.. - he cleared his throat - please let me know when you're ready to talk..

I looked up for a brief moment but it was enough for me to see his puppy sad eyes and his sad expression.. he walked away to the other side of the fire and sat next to Joe, who patted him in the back.

- Don't worry Demi.. things will get better.. - Miley whispered at me

I nodded and looked at the fire as the flames grew above the sand and the sticks..

We all sat in the logs and later, Selena arrived with Marissa.. the tension was evident around the fire..

Wilmer came up to us and clapped his hands - Hello everyone, hope you've been having a great time here in Camp Paradise.. We are going to have a different night today - he paused - today everyone has free tickets to the club right next to the facility, the "Dark Night". Since you don't need to drive, you can drink all you want.. but be responsible! - Wilmer told everyone

People around cheered and Wilmer then continued.. Nick's eyes stared at mine for a few seconds until he broke the contact

- Go have fun!!! - Wilmer shouted

Everyone got up and started walking towards the entrance.. trying to reach Selena, I walk faster towards her and Marissa, but soon, a wave of people came in between us, so I lost them

The girls all went inside and dolled up, of course Marissa helped me as soon as she got to the dorms and told me I had to go, even tho, I had no will, whatsoever..

- You look bomb Demi! - she smiled

We both got out with some cool glotter design on our faces and went to the club, which was packed

It had bright lights and hundreds of people dancing close to each other. It also had strippers dancing on a stage across thr dance area and the music was so loud that I felt like my head would explode

I walked around for a few minutes, not feeling confident enough to party, since my heart has been broken.. I walked up to the bar and started ordering drinks after drinks after drinks.. soon enough, he sat next to me on a stool

- Demi.. can we talk?

I felt the room spinning and jumping around.. trying to focus on Nick's face, I start to sprak incoherently - Yessssss... we talk

I tried to stand up a little and fell onto him, breaking in laughter.. after that, I only remember waking up naked...
