That Cry Though

Everyone was left looking at eachother astonished at what is happening

The nurse placed a tiny baby on my chest who was crying ever so loudly

" congrats Taylor it's a girl " " she is truely a little ,mircale " she cooed over her

I wrapped my hands around her body she wasn't tiny as I expected her to be she seemed just like a full term newborn , she soon stopped crying , and wiggled her little toes and held onto my little finger.

That's when I realised the trama was all over , my baby wasn't dead , she was here in my arms , I was over the moon and that even a under statement , I felt someone wipe the tear that was currently in the middle of a journey down my cheek .

I looked up to see Ashton's eyes also filled with tears he had that massive cheesy smile he had the day I met him. " well done Tay" he giggled

The nurse came back into the room and I took this moment to ask her a question while the baby was taking away to be washed and checked over . " how come she is bigger than a premature baby" i curiously asked " it turns out we got your due date wrong you were actually 5 weeks ahead of what we thought you were so really she was born at 37 weeks " she smiled " but why did you ..... you know that she was dead" i played with my fingers , Ashton looked at me as if I shouldn't have said anything

" The cervix lining was too thick for us to reach with ultrasound monitor and it was mistakin as a miscarraige " she said " sorry sweetheart

As on cue Luke woke up when the baby was brought in " hey Tay look I better get going , I'll see you and Ash later on" he smiled " Luke .. the baby is Ashtons " i giggled he just smiled and hugged me " im glad everything worked out" he whispered " i better go" he said

( 3 hours later)

She fell asleep in Ashton's arms

I've never seen him happier in my life " So what are you going to call her " someone spoke

it was a voice I knew a female voice I hadn't heard in years " mum" i whispered and there she stood in the corner of the room walking towards me she looks beautiful wearing her red lipstick , smiled but there was a tear in her eye " I'm so proud of you Taylor and I never got to tell you before I left but I love you so much and im sorry I had to leave you and dad my dear " she spoke it was so nice to hear her voice again

" i love you too " i said reaching my hand into the air " Tay Tay" someone spoke " yeah " I said snapping back " what are you going to call her " the short blonde nurse spoke

I looked at Ashton , he looked back

we spoke about this one night if we ever had kids with would call our kids this.

" Maddie " i spoke " Maddie Irwin" I smiled

Ashton stood up and crashed his lips onto mine " thanks for staying here till the end " i whispered he placed his finger upon my lips " shhh this is just the beginning " he smiled
