A/N: So yeah I 'm really sorry for the delay on the story. I started a new term this week and I have had a TON of homework and it really sucks. I'll try to update more frequently in the future though! :)

When we got into the club, I really couldn't see a thing. The whole room was filled with cigarette smoke that the lights on the stage were just a blur. I hustled my way around the groups of people and made my way to the front of the room. I still was holding onto Eric and Alan.

"Is this good for you guys?"

Eric wasn't even paying any attention to me, instead staring at a couple of girls in the corner. "...Um yeah. Hey look Irene, me an' Alan are going to check out the place alright?" He led Alan over to the girls immediately as I let out a sigh. I sat down at one of the tables and started playing with my fingers.

"Is anybody else sitting here?" a voice asked from behind me.

"Nope. Go right ahead."

I turned over to face the stranger until I realized it was Brian. He was dressed in a blue button up shirt with grey trousers. His hair was swooped to one side of his face. He sat down quickly and put down his drink and then handed me a glass. I shook my head no and he put it down next to his.

"So," I said. "What brings you here?" He laughed and pulled his chair in closer. "Same thing as you right? Here to see Johnny. Why did you think I was here?"

"Oh I don't know maybe to follow me here?" He looked me straight on and I couldn't take my eyes away. His bright blue eyes bore right into me and I was working as hard as I could not to get all bubbly inside.

"I promise you I wasn't following you. Besides, I don't even know where you live."

"Well-"

Soon enough the lights got brighter and a man walked out onto the stage. I quickly looked over to find Eric and Alan and saw them at a different table with each of their arms wrapped around a girl.

"Good evening. My name's Johnny Handle and I can't wait to perform for you tonight." This earned a rouse from the crowd and a couple of people gave a little shout. I locked eyes with Brian and he gave me a grin. Surprisingly I felt him grab my hand from under the table. His hands were warm and I started to blush. Thank goodness the room was so dark.

Johnny pulled out his accordian from the case. He sat up upon a stool in the middle of the stage with all the lights centered around him. "This 'ere song is quite a classic. It's name is 'House of the Rising Sun'!"

And soon he began to play.

There is a House in New Orleans

They call the Risin' Sun

And it's been the ruin of many a poor girl

And me, O God, for One.

If I had listened to what my mama said

I'd a' be at home today

Being so young and foolish, poor boy
