[Your P.O.V]

*time skips*

I look at myself in the mirror. My eyes are still puffy. My mother combed my hair and braid it. We look like no soul. Yes, my best friend, Tommy, didn't have anyone else. He's an orphan now. His father died to save me.

"Done. You look so beautiful, honey." I saw her from the mirror. She smiled at me, but I know he was crying inside.

"Are you ready to go?" I nodded. Actually, I'm not ready. My mother took my hand, and we headed out. I remembered something and I took off my mother's grasp and ran to my room. "Wait, I'll be back."

I forgot to bring a gift that I'll give it to Thomas. I took a jar full of marbles that is on my drawer. Thomas like marbles, and I asked my father to bought me. My dad says that these marbles special edition and I'm sure Thomas would love it.

I went down the stairs. My mum was waiting in the front. Then, she locked the door and we got into a taxi. We went to Thomas' house.

Everyone wears black outfit. My mum took my hand leading into the house.

"Thank you for coming." Someone welcomed us. She took the flowers which were brought by my mother.

"Is Mr. Sangster' brother come?" My mother asked. "Yes, I'm Emily, his wife. It's nice to meet you," She reached out her hand.

"I'm Emma, his best friend. Nice to meet you too." My mother shook her hand.

"Where's Tommy?" My eyes looking for Thomas in every corner of the room, but I didn't see him.

"Thomas was in his room. He wouldn't leave the room after back from the hospital. But, I'll take you to him. Maybe he wants to meet you."

     "Thank you." My mum said.

Emily knocked the door and shouted, "Thomas, Mrs. Emma is here,"

     "And Lolly," I said.

"And Lolly too. They want to meet you." She tried to open the door, but it was still locked. Emily called him again, "Thomas?"

"Go! She had killed my father! I don't want to see her! Go! leave me alone!" Thomas yelled. I looked down.

"I'm sorry, he still doesn't believe his father is dead."

"It's all my fault," I said softly and hold the jar firmly. My mum holds my shoulders and squats down in front of me, "Honey, this is not your fault. It's all an accident. Nobody knows when this will happen. Stop blaming yourself. Okay?" My mother wiped my tears but I didn't respond.

"Do you want to give this to Thomas?" I looked at my mum and nodded. "Okay. You have to give it to Mrs. Emily," Then I did what my mum said.

"Please don't say if this is from me because maybe he would not accept it," I whispered.

"All right. I won't tell him." She took the jar and winked instead her smile.

"Who will take care of Thomas? I mean, maybe he could stay with us."

"Thank you for your offer, but Thomas will live with us. Moreover, we don't have a children." Said Emily, led us into the living room.

"So, when are you going to go?" I said.

"Perhaps, the morning after the burial, Lolly."

"Can I visit him, mum? Maybe just to say goodbye." I said tugging at her clothes. "Sure, honey. But you have school tomorrow, haven't you?"

"Pleaseee...." I said begging her and making puppy eyes.

"Okay, okay. We will come here tomorrow."

"Yay! Thank you, mum!" I hugged her and she stroked my hair.

"Well, it was late, we must go home now. Good night."

     "Thank you and good night."

I waved my hand to Emily. Not for long, the taxi that was booked by my mum came and drove us home.
