I never woke up to three knocks on my door that night, it was a loud extremely high pitched scream. I woke up sweating from my nightmare, I thought the scream was in my dream too so I went back to sleep unfortunately it wasn't...
More screams, they were getting weaker each time until suddenly they stopped. That was when I knew I was no longer dreaming.
My dad had been staying somewhere else for the weekend due to work, I rushed through to my mum to see if she was okay.
She lay there in several pieces scattered across the bedroom she shared with my father. I screamed and was sick.
'Muuummmmmm!' I screamed as loud as I could.
I heard my brother start to cry, I didn't know what to do. I couldn't hear anyone so I ran for the phone and called the police, they arrived very quick.
My dad met me and my brother at the police station, I just sat and stared in silence. The police tried to get information from me but I couldn't help them. I blamed myself.
The thought that not only would they be examining my mothers body they would be examining it in separate pieces was horrible. I couldn't get the image out of my head but it was only going to get worse.
My phone went off again, I had been expecting another text message but it was much worse than ever before. My mothers death was extremely hard to accept but this...
It was a video from the mystery knocker, he went into my mums room and then mines showing how we were both sleeping. His face was never shown.
The camera was then leaned against something, giving me full view of my mother and fathers room. As the video continued I seen how he murdered her, tortured her and cut her into pieces. It also showed how I was sleeping only a few steps away.
What I thought was just a nightmare became reality, and things would never be the same again...
Let me know what you think:D?
