As i walked down stairs confused by what had just happened I noticed the house was looking cleaner than normal, ornaments that had been put away for years were back out and the house was spotless.

Since my mum had gone me and my dad had decided we would still sit at the table togeher, it would be our time to sit and peace and stay strong together.

My dad had set the table different, there were four places with cutlery instead of two, and napkind were included. The table had an expsensive looking cover on it with roses and shining gold ribbon around the edges.

'Dad...why have you set four places insead of two?' I asked him confused.

He let out a chuckle - the first id heard since my mum died, and i stared at him waiting patiently on an answer. Was i just dreaming?

'There is only three places set.' He said to me laughing.

I looked back at the table and noticed he was right, there was only three places set at the table.

'Okay, why is there three places set at the table then when there is only me and you?' I asked him impatiently this time feeling a little annoyed.

'Because......Meet Leyla!' He said to me excited as a woman walked through the door.

She was tall and thin and had long brown hair that she had curled at the ends. I will admit she was gorgous but I couldnt understand why my dad would have some woman over for dinner.

'Anndd why is she here? I dont mean to sound rude but i am slightly confused.' I asked my dad as if she wasnt there when i knew she was right beside me listening into every word i spoke carefully trying to figure me out.

'Well we are on a date, im cooking obviously. I didnt want to leave you in the house alone so i brought her here instead since she was so kind and understanding.' And with that he reached out for her hand.

I ran upstairs and slammed my door behind me, how could he move on so fast? As if my mother had never existed. Why is he determined to make things so hard for me?

'Go back down and say sorry, she is a nice woman you will learn to like her. Trust me, ill even be there with you my seat is right beside yours.' I heard Cameron whisper in my ear.
