Celeste x Reader - Gambling and Gyoza

I sat on my bed tapping my pen on the nightstand. I was thinking of ideas for what to do for my friend Celeste's birthday. She usually has an extravagant party but this year she told me that she wants me to come up with something for her birthday. I went through my list of ideas but no matter how big the list got it was always that one idea that caught my eye.

"I guess that's what I'll be doing then" I mumbled to myself. Then I turned off the light and fell asleep.

I woke up in the morning and got dressed and ready for a long day out. Celeste said she would wait for me in the rec room so I made my way there. I opened the door to see Celeste talking with Hifumi until Hifumi left looking dejected.

"Was he trying to get you to love him again?"

Celeste nodded "That fat tub of lard needs to learn how to back off"

I scoffed at her comment and she smirked.

"So you ready to go?" I asked her

"Of course darling!"

I rolled my eyes a bit. At this point I'm used to her calling me darling or dear, she's done it since we've met. We left Hopes Peak and I took her to a very special place. Tochigi. Her eyes lit up when she realized where we were going.

"Ah! You're taking me to my home town?"

"Why not? It isn't the only thing I have planned"

Celeste looked at me, curiosity showing in her eyes. I took her to a restaurant but not just any restaurant. The one that has the best Gyoza in Tochigi. Celeste looked at me in shock.

"You remembered my favourite food?"

"How could I forget?"

"This place is so expensive though!"

"It's your birthday! I wanted to do something I knew you loved. I have other things planned."

Celeste smiled an actual smile then we both entered the restaurant. After we finished eating I took Celeste to the biggest casino in Tochigi which was one of the biggest in Japan.

"Oh Y/N! You shouldn't have dear!"

"Remember what I said before we went in the restaurant? Same thing here"

"Including the other things planned part?"

I nodded and she smiled again. Celeste did most of the gambling while I just watched but I did it a couple times but failed miserably. Celeste told me not to worry about it and how I'm just beginner and I told her that I knew. After hanging around the casino for awhile we left and I took her to the last place I had planned. It was sunset, just how I was hoping. I took her to a nearby cliff and as expected. The view was gorgeous.

"This is so marvelous!"

"I knew you'd like it"

She turned her head and smiled.

"Y/N"

"Yeah?"

"This was so much better than an extravagant party"

I smiled "Glad to hear. I'm not done just yet though"

I took Celeste's hands in mine and she looked shocked at first but let it happen.

"Celeste, I know this is sudden but, I loved you for a very long time and I was wondering, would you be mine?"

Celeste looked shocked again and I held my breath. Then Celeste's body connected with mine as she gave me a crushing hug.

"Of course I will dear!"

We were both grinning ear to ear then, with the sunset behind us, we kissed. We pulled away after a bit then sat there hand in hand.

"Hey, Y/N"

"Yeah Celeste?"

She pecked my cheek "Call me Taeko from now on"

I smiled

"Okay Taeko"

And we sat there looking at the stars until the break of dawn.
