Chapter 1

Leah's POV:

"We made it!" Iris cheered as she flew around Yukino and I in circles. I couldn't help but smile at my partner as I kept my hood up. "We finally made it should we look for a place to stay before going to the guild?" I asked as I looked over at my cousin as she stared at the guild hall in awe.

'I guess its going to take some time for her to soak in the reality.' I thought then felt Iris landing on my head. "Lets go! I'm excited to see what the guild is like." Iris beamed as I nodded my head slightly. "Alright, lets go to the guild then." I said as we started to make our way to the guild hall. It's only been 6 years since news went out about Fairy Tail's core members are yet to be found.

The guild's reputation went down hill and Sabertooth took the title of being the number 1 guild of Fiore. Yukino has looked up to Sabertooth while I looked up to Fairy Tail, well a certain mage in Fairy tail, despite what happened the guild. I didn't want to leave Yukino alone and decided to join Yukino with her Sabertooth journey.

We walked into the guild and it seems like everyone is minding their own business not even taking note that two strangers walking into their guild hall. I glanced around as the mixed smell hit my nose. We walked inside and I already felt tense when the chatter came to a halt. "What are two little girls doing here in my guild hall." I glance up and see a tall, muscular male with a small Sabertooth emblem on his forehead. 'Why would you place your mark there? You're not that cool sir.' I thought.

"We are here to join Sabertooth sir." Yukino states as he stares at us carefully. I couldn't help but shudder at his gaze. "What magic do you two hold?" He asked. "I'm a Celestial mage and she can." Yukino was cut off when the Master stared at her sternly as she was about to answer for me. "Well girl? Don't you have a voice inside of you speak." He demanded. "Devil slayer." I said as the Master leaned in as if he was mocking me. "Speak up brat I don't understand mumbles." His voiced raised as I took a slight step back for some personal space.

"I am a devil slayer sir I can also do maker magic." I said a bit louder as he pulled away once he finally got the answer he want. "I only have one rule in this guild if you can't uphold this rule then I will make sure you regret stepping foot into this guild. You two are going to battle one of my men I don't accept the weak." He stated as I turn slightly and see some of the members hesitant to get up and fight.

'He really means it if these wizards are that hesitant to fight.' I thought as I took Iris in my arms. "Iris, I want you to stay put with Yukino." I told my partner once I set her down on the ground. "Alright Leah, kick some butt!" She smiled as I nodded my head and set my bow and arrows down next to Iris.

"A devil slayer huh?" I turn my head and stood properly to face my opponent. "Sounds like a load of bs to me." He taunts as Iris hiss at the male. "Is that so, just because we aren't very common doesn't mean you shouldn't mock us." I stated as I just stare at him already getting annoyed at his cockiness. "One hit should be enough to end this." He smirked and again I can already feel Iris baring her fangs as a growl is heard behind me. "Will you control that stupid cat of yours!" That crossed the line.

I ran at the guy and kicked him in the gut, giving him no time to recover I slammed my hands on the floor trapping him in a crystal geyser. "You shouldn't of called Iris a stupid cat." I glared and sucked in the air "Crystal devil's rage." I open my mouth as a spiral of crystal shards attacked the crystal geyser. "Now you know its not a lie." I said and went back to Iris as she flew up on my head as I picked up my weapon. "You held back didn't you?" Iris asked as I shrug. "More or less." I replied as I place the weapon back where they belong and now its Yukino's turn to fight.

As I watch the fight I couldn't help but get the feeling that someone is staring, digging holes into my body. I glance around the room and spotted two figures in a booth with two other exceeds on the table. I raise an eyebrow when the blonde gave a flirtatious smirk and turned my head away from him though the snicker coming from that direction didn't escape my ears. In the end, Yukino won the fight with ease, I let Iris go as she jumped into Yukino's arms to congratulate the celestial mage.

"Impressive brats.. you're in the guild but never show any form of weakness in this guild or you will end up on the street like the lowly rats belong. Get your marks in the back." He spat as he walked off not before he called the two mages to go into his office. I looked over at my cousin then hum softly. "Let's go, we still need to find a place to stay." I told her as we made our way to the back to get our guild marks. I picked the white emblem and place it on the right side of my stomach while Yukino placed the opposite side. Iris got purple and is placed on her back.

After adjusting the cloak I put my hood back up and walked out with Yukino "we should take on a job tomorrow." Iris suggest as I nodded my head. "I'm good with that, do you want to join us Yukino?" I asked as Yukino shook her head. "I want to look around town for the day and see whats around." She says as I nodded my head. "Thats also a good idea." I commented and hum slightly.

Time went by fast as we wandered around town looking for a place to stay that we can call home and we found a small place a little far from the guild but its a straight shot after a couple of turns. We had to pay 70k jewels every month which is pretty cheap. It's already furnished, there is two rooms with two bathrooms, a decent size kitchen with an open dining room and there is also a balcony its small but it will do. I let Iris set her bed how she wants it since she is pretty picky about it. The only thing now is what should I buy for dinner tonight.
