Chapter 7

Leah's POV:

Its the final day of the Grand Magic Games, I managed to jump up onto the roof since everyone is asked to either move away or stay indoors until the games are over. I stayed up on the roof but I had to make sure there were no lacrima projectors around so I wouldn't get caught.

I let out a small hum once the breeze blew in, I am currently sitting on top of one of the hotels, it was a good thing I requested a couple more nights before taking the train back the empty house I will meet with. I kicked my feet slightly as I listen to the commentators about the game.

Time was going painfully slow but I was silently cheering on for Fairy Tail lucky. Once it was mid afternoon I made my way down, making sure no one spotted me as I jumped from roof to roof. I stopped once I heard Rogue's voice as I watched him looking at the screen then quickly ducked down once a lacrima camera came by. After a couple of minutes I looked up and Rogue disappeared, I looked around then went into a random direction.

As I jumped down from a higher building I spotted a familiar blonde head in the alley way, hidden from the cameras. 'Sting? What is he doing here.. he seems different.' I thought as I look down at the white dragon slayer. "You know I can smell you right? I thought you already left the city Leah." Sting said as I just watch him carefully. "I won't tell m'lady that you were here. Besides she is already busy with her own battle."

After debating a bit I finally went down and stood next to Sting. "And here I thought you would leave. If you came because of pity I don't need it." I couldn't help but roll my eyes at him and turned to face the other way. "I don't know what happened in Sabertooth, I don't particularly care. I am still here for Iris no one else." I said then walked off, "and how are you going to do that? You know m'lady has Iris its pointless you're not a member of Sabertooth she wouldn't give Iris back."

Slap

"Just because I am no longer a member of Sabertooth doesn't mean I will not fight for my friend. I don't know what made you kick the bucket, but don't drag me down with you... Goodbye Sting." I said then walked off leaving the dragon slayer alone.

After endless wandering, I didn't even bother looking at the screen anymore. I didn't even know where Minerva went to after the three way battle appeared and she just disappeared leaving Erza and Kagura to fight. "Just hold on Iris.. I will come for you." I muttered softly then turned my head when I heard a loud crash up ahead.

"And another destroyed part of the city." I muttered softly then a familiar pink pass through. "pink?" I followed then noticed its Frosch running to where the crash is. I quickly picked up the little exceed and ducked behind the flower vends as the camera flew by. "Frosch what are you doing out here?" I looked at the little exceed once I placed him down.

"Leah!" Frosch smiled then quickly frowned and looked at the lacrima vision in front of us. "I need to hurry.. Rogue is hurt badly." The exceed said as I soften. "Let me take you to him." I offered then picked up the exceed and tapped my heel on the ground as a pillar formed and jumped down on the roof and ran with Frosch to where the crash was from.

We finally arrived at the place as Rogue is on the ground badly injured, I felt my heart crushed at the state he is in then hid behind the pillar when sinister laugh echoed in the halls. "Rogue." I hear Frosch mutter sadly and jumped out of my arms and ran towards him. "W-wait frosch!" I silently cursed and hid again not sure if the other lacrima crystals are still around.

I waited a while till the coast is clear then peaked over and see Rogue sitting with Frosch as Gajeel already left not too long ago. 'I should go.. I need to look for Iris.' I thought about to walk away then stopped for a second and turn my head to watch the two. "Thank you Leah."
