Chapter Three

Sometime later we were back at the boarding house and Elena and Stefan were talking about me as if i wasn't sat right in front of them, much to my annoyance.

"She can't Stefan. She can't go through another death. You know what she was like before, just imagine what she'll be like now." Elena choked through her tears.

"Liana is a stro-" Stefan was interrupted by the door opening, revealing Damon.

Elena stood up. "What did you do with her?" She asked angrily.

"Please calm her down." Was all he said.

"You knew. Didn't you? You knew that if she harness all that power that she would die, didn't you?" Elena glared at the older Salvatore brother.

"Yes. Yes I knew."

Out of nowhere Elena decides it would be a grand idea to slap Damon.

Damon's head snapped to the side due to the impact. And when he turned it to face Elena again he had a stern look planted on his face.

"Listen to me very closely...Klaus using Alaric's body was a total surprise. She wasn't prepared for that. And he wasn't going to stop. He wasn't going to stop until he knew she was dead. He had to believe it."

My mind was reeling, i couldn't believe what i was hearing.

"She cast a spell....Bonnie's ok." And with that he turned and left.

"Liana!"

I snapped out of my thoughts and looked over to Elena and Stefan to see they were talking to someone on the laptop. I quickly walked over, and saw Bonnie's smiling face on the screen.

"Liana!" She exclaimed happily.

I couldn't hold it in much longer. I started to cry uncontrollably.

Sitting next to Elena, I couldn't help but smile through my tears.

She was ok. Bonnie was ok.

"Don't cry! Everything's ok! Why are you crying?" Bonnie asked looking worried.

I shook my head. "I'm crying because I'm happy!" I laughed through my tears.
