During our conversation with Elijah; Elena and I have found out quite a bit. -
Katherine was probably still alive; unfortunately.
He and Klaus are brothers.
There's a whole family of originals.
Nothing can kill an original; except, the wood from a simple tree...Who would of guessed.
We found out that the curse of the sun and the moon...Is fake.
If fact the only curse there is, is a curse placed on Klaus himself.
But that was before Elena's phone decided to start ringing again...
"Your phone will not stop its excessive buzzing. Please answer it." Elijah told Elena, handing it over to her.
"Stefan. What's wrong?"
More problems?
"No. No, no, no, no. I- Ok I'll be right there." She told whoever was on the phone, making me frown in confusion.
"Klaus went after Jenna; one of us has to go to her." Elena stated making panic rise up in me.
"I'm afraid that wasn't part of today's arrangement." Elijah replied.
"She's our family Elijah, we have to." She paused for a moment. "What if just one of go?"
I felt my eyes widen.
Elijah seemed to be thinking it over.
Please make Elena stay, please make Elena stay. She is much more reasonable than me.
"I want Liana to stay." Damn.
"Be quick."
When I noticed Elena looking at me for confirmation; I gave her a small nod, which made her hesitantly turn and run away.
Yeah, I'm screwed.
I turned to Elijah to see him watching me closely. As if expecting me like I was some new discovered animal.
Elena's POV
After calming Jenna down, she fell asleep. Now I was currently conversing with Stefan.
"It's not your fault Stefan." I told him, making him scoff. "It's mine."
"Anyway, I have to go back."
"Wait. What? no." Stefan protested grabbing my arm.
"I have to Stefan, Liana is still with him." I mumbled the last bit, hoping he wouldn't hear.
"She's what?" He exclaimed just as Damon came around the corner.
"You are not going anywhere." He told me, whilst pointing a finger. "And where's Liana? Is she at home?"
"She's still with Elijah." I told him calmly.
"Are you crazy?" His eyes widened.
"Calm down. He won't hurt her."
"How do you know?" He pressed further.
"I can just tell."
Damon put his hands on his head whilst making an aggravated sound. Slowly he straightened back up again, before looking back at me.
"Fine."
I didn't need to be told twice.
Klaus' POV
Worthless, Useless humans. How could they not amuse me? Their lives are so short they have not lived; even at what they call 'old age'. They don't know what life is, they have no clue what fear is, and they know nothing of real love. Yet they think they control the earth...
But as I walked through the door of my current bodies apartment, I couldn't help but think of a certain fair haired mortal.
Her eyes so captivating, so blue. The blue like no other colour I had seen in my life....
I do not know her name nor who she is.
But I will find out.
My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of loud music.
Katerina.
"Mind turning that down." I said, walking towards her. She immediately turned it down by the remote.
"I need you to answer me a question that I am certain you know the answer to." I stated, making her look slightly worried.
"There is a certain...Human, I would like to know about. One I have never come across before."
Katherine looked confused so I elaborated.
"I have a feeling she is quite close to the doppelganger. Golden hair, blue eyes." I hadn't realised I was beginning to get lost in my thoughts before I was pulled out of them by Katherine.
"You mean Elena's older sister."
That defiantly caught my attention.
"What's her name?"
"Liana." Beautiful.
" There's something about her that's not quite...Human about her."
Oh?
"I quite like her though" Katherine continued. "She's feisty; it confuses me. Why would the Salvatore brothers fall for Elena when Liana is in their reach?"
For some reason the thought of the Salvatore brothers in love with Liana made me want to rip something apart. Preferably them.
Liana's POV
Me and Elijah we're silently walking across the gardens, no words between us; before Elijah decided to speak.
"You're eyes. They are like no colour I have ever set sight on. The colour is real, yes?" He asked, in which I replied with a timid nod.
"You have no reason to be afraid of me." He told me quietly. I looked up at him, slanting my head slightly.
"Of course I do." Was all I said, before walking ahead.
