"Hermione, dear, your letter's here!" Mrs. Weasley called from the kitchen.
"Oh no!" I squeaked. "I'm getting my O.W.L. results!" (I know they didn't do O.W.L.s in sixth year but just go along with it okay)
"'Mione, they're all O's and you know it," said Ginny, who was sitting on the floor reading a book.
"Okay, okay, okay. I can do this." I bolted down the stairs and Mrs. Weasley gave me the letter.

These are her grades from 6 year
Defense Against the Dark Arts: O
Arithmancy: O
History of Magic: O
Potions: O
Astronomy: O
Transfiguration: O
Charms: O
Herbology: O

I let out an excited squeal, meanwhile beside me, Ginny read through her letter.
"What did I tell you?" She asked me, grinning.
I flipped over to the next sheet of parchment.

Ms. Granger,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been chosen as the Head Girl. Your badge is in the letter, and you will see your Head of House for more information.
Sincerely,
Minerva McGonagall
Deputy Headmistress

The Head Girl badge was at the bottom. I picked it up, and when Mrs. Weasley saw it, she shrieked,
"Head Girl! Oh Hermione, that's wonderful!"
Ginny was staring at her letter in disbelief. "I've- I've been made Quidditch Captain."
Mrs. Weasley gave another exited squeal and called everyone down for a celebratory breakfast of pancakes, bacon and eggs.
"Hey, Gin, want to go shopping for school supplies today?"
"Yeah, sure."
We separated to Diagon Alley and were met by a huge crowd.
"What is going on?" I asked Ginny while bumping into someone.
"Dunno. Oh wait, I think Fred and George's joke shop is reopening."
"Oh. Here's Flourish and Blotts," I said, and pulled her into the store. It was almost empty, which was surprising, because the other Hogwarts students would have to get their stuff. We bought our books and headed out to buy some quills before going to the joke shop. There were a lot of people (surprise surprise) and when George spotted us, he walked over, magenta robes billowing behind him.
"Hey Gin! Hi Hermione! We were wondering when you were coming."
"Sir," said a small blonde boy, tugging on the sleeve of George's robes, "Where are the trick wands?"
"Right over there," said George, pointing to a rather spectacular display of wands.
"Thank you!" He ran off. I felt hands grab my shoulders and I jumped and pulled out my wand.
"Whoa, 'Mione, it's just me."
"You should know by now not to do that," I told him while showing my wand in my pocket.
"I did know," he said, "but since when do I do what I should?"
"Good point."
"Anyways, I was wondering if you wanted to grab something to eat after the opening? For now you can stay in the flat, if you'd like."
"Yeah, okay, I'll just hang out until then." I walked to the back of the shop, where the door to the flat was placed, and entered.
The whole of the living room was orange, and it smelled of cinnamon. I sat on the couch, legs crossed with Ginny, who took out a phone and began playing games.

After a while the noise from the crowd subsided a bit, and a very tired Fred walked in, followed closely by George.
"Wow," said Fred, panting a bit. "Huge crowd." And then he saw me, and his eyes lit up again. "Hermione! Let me just get changed, and we can go."
"Okay," I said, and he left. George went back out to the store and after a while, Fred came back wearing a Gryffindor shirt, jeans, and black converse shoes. I walked out of the flat with him, knees trembling slightly from lack of use, and we went into the Leaky Cauldron to eat.
"So," I said, sitting down.
"I'm really going to miss you, you know." He said.
"I'm going to miss you too."
"You don't have to go, you could just stay, I have enough money to support both of us."
I sighed. "Fred, you know I would never be happy if I never got to finish my education correctly. I would just be unhappy."
"I know. I love you too much to let you go." I didn't realize he leaned in until our lips were touching. He kissed me, just a small kiss, and then we broke apart.

~le skip to after they ate cuz the author is lazy~

Ginny and I headed back to the Burrow after that, and I decided to put my books into my trunk.
"Hey," said Ginny, who was sitting on the floor, polishing the Nimbus 2001 I had bought her for her birthday. It wasn't the best, but I bought what I could for her.
"Yeah?" I asked, looking up from Hogwarts; A History.
"Do you realize that at this time next week we'll be married?"
I choked on air. I had forgotten once again that we were getting married.
"I had actually forgotten," I said, twisting my ring around my finger.
"I haven't. I'm so nervous, what if something goes wrong, what if I trip and fall-"
I laughed. "Thats what's going to happen to me, not you, so don't worry."
She smiled weakly.
"I'm going to take a shower," I told her, and I got up and went to the bathroom.

~skippity skip to after shower cuz I'm a lazy butt~

I walked out, dressed in my most comfortable pajamas, but on the way to Ginny's room, I bumped into something hard. I made an "oomff" sound and looked up to see Fred. He laughed and looked at me, eyes gleaming. I realized Ginny was behind him, and they both had brooms, so I grabbed a coat and followed them to the Quidditch field. I watched them play for a bit. It was very entertaining, and I think once or twice the teams attempted to hex each other.
"Mione, wan to learn how to fly?" Asked Fred, landing smoothly in front of me.
"Um, nonononono."
"I'll take that as a yes," he said with a grin, and scooped me up in his arms and seated me on his broom. He then sat behind me, putting his hands on top of mine so I couldn't move (or fall off).
"Okay, kick off," he said, and I groaned. There was no getting out of this. I pressed my feet to the ground and kicked, and the broom actually went quite high.
"Good. Now lean forward a bit,"
I did, and the broom shot forwards. "Wow wow why am I doing this?!?!" I shouted.
He smirked and spoke in my ear.
"Dont worry. I promise I won't ever let you fall."
