***Calum's POV***

I strided into the cinema, my mind a whirlpool of anger and frustration. I opened the door only to realize I didn't even know what the kid looked like. My eyes searched the room frantically, hoping I might recognize someone, but it was no use. Suddenly I felt someone grab onto my bicep, trying pull me outside; I immediately turned to face them.

"What the fuck Riley? I told you to stay outside!" I growled, making a few people turn their attention towards us for a minute, but one boys gaze remained on me and Riley, his face filled with shock.

"Riley?" he asked wearily. My gaze immediately intensified as my hands clenched to fists, pushing Riley away gently before rushing towards Carter.

***Riley's POV***

"Riley?" Carter asked cautiously, squinting his eyes as if he didn't believe I was there. I opened my mouth to reply but before I could say anything Calum was pacing towards him. I cursed under my breath and tried to pull him back but he was too strong and effortlessly pushed me away.

"Cal he's not worth it" I hissed, but he ignored me, his hands in fists with his jaw clenched shooting daggers with his eyes. Carter stood up from his seat, bracing himself for a fight with Calum, I spotted Chloe trying to drag him back and I felt a dag of jealousy through my veins but ignored it. Calum reached Carter and punched him in the nose.

"That's for the way you treated her" he spat, gesturing towards me. I stood like a statue, rooted to the ground with shock. He didn't hit him again; instead he grabbed his coat from his seat and grabbed my hand without muttering a word, dragging me out the door.

"Calum..." I said once we got outside, my voice cracking slightly.

"I'm sorry Riles... I don't know what came over me..." his voice trailed off, looking at the ground.

"It's okay..." I said, he looked up hopefully.

"No one's ever done anything like that for me before." I continued, giving him a small smile, I looked down at my hands realizing they were still connected with Calums; I felt butterflies in my stomach but ignored it.

"Home?" I suggested.

"Home." He replied, flashing a smile.

We walked to the car and he opened the door for me, closing it once I had sat in; then going to the other side of the car and sitting into the driver's seat.

He paused looking at me for a minute before saying

"I'm sorry... about that..."

I smiled reassuringly, reaching for his hand and giving it a gentle squeeze. I felt a bolt of electricity shoot up my arm as I did so, what was that about?

"It's okay, Calum." I replied matter-of-factly.

He gazed at me for a few more seconds, although it felt like hours.

"You're beautiful, you know that right?" he stated under his breath. His eyes widened as if he hadn't meant to say that aloud.

"I mean, I don't want guys taking advantage of that..." he added in quickly.

I nodded understandingly, "I know" I said, giving a small smile. But my mind was spinning; did Calum just call me beautiful?

***Ashton's POV***

"RILEY IRWIN WHAT TIME DO YOU CALL THIS!?" I shrieked as she walked through the door, Calum trailing behind her.

"Uh... 5 past 10?" she stated dumbly.
