Kari looked around the village and sniffed the air, searching for life. The girl gagged. No one was there. Not a person was in the village. However there were animals, small mice and rats, but nothing bigger that a rat. The child frowned at the abandoned village, knowing what had happened. She sniffed the air again, letting out a gag as she smelled blood and decaying flesh as clear as day. Even more so than before. The child held the urge to vomit and pressed on. She heard crunching bones not long later.
"Welp, guess I know where everyone went." The girl mumbled then followed the sound, preparing for a fight. Not long later the girl found a large demon with scaly red and gold skin, bloodshot eyes, a snake's body and a human's torso. The demon had no hair and slits for a nose, disgusting yellow claws, and fangs. The demon was clearly a female and had too much meat on her bones, from eating the unlucky people who could not escape her. She was on a pile of corpses, her body coiled around the pile. She was munching on an arm, eating the whole thing bones and all.
"This one is a bit bitter, maybe I could---" The demon stuck out her tongue and froze. "Is that what I think it is?" She murmured and turned her head towards Kari. "You there. What are you doing here?" She asked, a smirk curling onto her face. Kari just stood there in silence. "Hey! I'm talk- ah" The demon gagged as her skin began to bubble.
"So," Kari's voice was a low growl. Her right index finger loosely pointing at the opposing demon. "Let's see. The death of nearly this whole village. Just for fun and so you could stay fat?" The girl growled.
"What do you mean? I was just..."
"I can see it. Your motives. You wanted a bit of fun today and thought you'd wipe out this village, just because you could. But some managed to escape, making you a bit upset, so you decided to eat away your rage." The demon growled, only to gag again. The bubbling got worse. "Now, time to pay." Kari huffed and brought her right index finger swiftly up, pointing towards the sky. Metal spikes swiftly rose out of the demon's back. "Did you know that there are bits of metal in our blood? Just enough for me to use against you." Kari informed as the demon yelped in pain. Kari brought her right index finger to point to the right, the metal spikes followed. Next she brought her finger left then finally forward, killing the demon.
Kari sighed and began burying the bodies that were still intact and burning the others. She grabbed some supplies from a shop then left the village. Time went on and Kari was in the village west of Kaede's village. She gulped and began asking if anyone had seen the group she traveled with. First mentioning a lecherous monk and a dog boy and a dragon, since they stuck out the most or caused a scene. Everyone she asked pointed her to Kaede's village, saying they went there not long ago. The girl thanked them, making sure her mask was secured on her face and her cloak hood was up. She headed towards Kaede's village swiftly.
Once Kari was at the edge of the village, she took out a small incense and clipped it to her scarf, which she hid with the cloak. She knew if a certain half demon figured out her identity, this next part would be impossible and he would hold back. Kari then patted her shirt and pants, which began to glow only to change into the kimono she got while at Naraku's castle.
"This is gonna be fun." She giggled happily and entered the village. Everyone stared at her. One girl rushed to tell Kaede about the odd cloaked person. Not long later Kari was in front of Kaede as well as the group she traveled with. Kari looked at everyone. They looked relatively the same, except Kagome was now wearing a school uniform rather than casual clothing.
"Who are you?" Kaede asked. Kari did not answer. Kaede sighed and tried again. "Ahem, excuse me, who are you?"
"An old acquaintance... Inuyasha," She looked at the half demon. "I've come for a fight." She stated, her voice low enough so no one knew who she was. Inuyasha blinked then stepped forward.
