Chapter 21

Kaname's alarm was unwanted today. He was exhausted from the events happening prior. He urged himself out of bed, still soar from yesterday. Although he didn't have any training today, he still had to meet up with Commander Knile. So, he got in his everyday clothes, including a white T-shirt and jeans.

He stumbled around, barely able to walk until he reached Sector 8, then he proceeded to walk the halls without direction searching for Room 136.

He eventually found it, but right as he was about to knock, Commander Knile walked out, boumping into Kaname and causing him to fall. Luckily Commander Knile grabbed him by the wrist and pulled him up just before he hit the ground.

"Oh, hey Kaname. Sorry about that. I wasn't paying attention." Commander Knile chuckled as he said this.

Kaname just stood in awe. When Commander Knile is wearing the standard issue clothing, he looks almost like he's Kaname's age.

"What... Do I have something on my face?" Commander Knile said, rubbing around his mouth.

"Uhh... N-No, sir!" Kaname studdered.

"You know you don't have to call me sir, right?"

"Really, want do you want me to call you?"

"Hmm... Call Me Okatsu. It's my first name, but almost nobody calls me by it."

"Alright, Okatsu." He said nervously.

"So, you hungry, or what?"

"S-Sure..."

"Then let's go." Okatsu said as he grabbed Kaname's hand and dragged him towards the cafeteria.

Chapter 22

"So what do you want to eat?" Okatsu asked Kaname as they approached the dining area. "I'm buying."

"Huh? Oh no, that's fine. I can pay for my own food." Kaname insisted.

"Nope, I'm the one who invited you, so I'm paying." Okatsu said as he stuck his tongue out.

Kaname never noticed how childish Okatsu was.

"Fine... I give in."

As they got in line for food, he noticed Moritani was sitting at a table alone. He ran over to him and sat on the table across from him.

"Kaname! What happened yesterday? I thought you were hurt dude! why didn't you tell me what happened?!?!" Moritani's mind was racing to keep up.

"Stop talking and I'll tell you." Kaname smiled and Moritani turned red.

"Oh yeah..." Okatsu blushed.

"Oh my god! You are Commander Knile!" He quickly stood up saluted. "It's an honor to meet you, sir!" Moritani's whole body was tensed.

"At ease, soldier." Okatsu's expression hardened and the childish side of him that Kaname had seen earlier, vanished.
