Chapter 14 - Mothers

Maya's POV

I woke up, and the delicious smell of bacon, pancakes traveled to my nose. And I looked to my right of the bed and Nathan was laying there so who was making breakfast. Must be his mom.

I was trying to get out of the bed without waking Nathan up, but that attempt failed. Cause as soon as I sat up he pulled me slowly back down. Let me tell you this was kinda weird, because we slept in the same bed. And we didn't do anything bad which is probably a record or something for him.

"Nathan come down stairs and eat!" Nathan's mom shouted.

"Coming!" Nathan shouted back.

"Does your mom know that were dating? Or that I'm here." I asked getting up off of Nathan's bed.

"Oh shit! No she's never around to tell her." He said coming over to me.

"I get it. My mom's the same, except you don't have to tell your mom were dating if you don't want to." I said immediately regretting what I just said.

"I don't wanna introduce you as my girlfriend." He said sending pain to my chest. I mean what do I care I don't really like him. I'm basically helping my friend aren't I?

"Nah, just kidding but she's gonna be happy." He said making me blush. Ugh why does he do this?!?!

"Holy fuck you scared me Nathan." I said and he pulled my hand and we headed towards the door.

"Natha-- oh Maya what are you doing here?" Nathans mom said.

"Hey Mrs. Andrews." I said

"Umm, mom I have to tell you something."

"Dear lord Nathan, please tell me you didn't get anyone pregnant." Nathans mom said causing me to crack up.

"No me and Maya are dating... Well have been dating for a month and a half now." Said Nathan. Then his mom's eyes went wide.

"See me and your mom new you two liked each other Maya. As soon as you two met we could tell that something was bound to happen between you two." Said Nathan mother. Her saying that really shocked me cause I never thought of getting with Nathan I mean sure I'm dating him. But that's only so my friends heart doesn't get broken.

"Okay mom that's enough." Nathan said rubbing the back of his neck.

"Awe is my little care bear embarrassed?" Nathans mom said. As soon as she said that nathans eyes went wide as he looked at his mom and I laughed.

"Mom!" Nathan said.

"Well I'm going to go wash up so I can eat." I said smiling at the both of them.

As I was walking to the bathroom to wash my hands, and fix my hair.

When I was walking back to the kitchen I could hear Nathan talking but he was trying to be quiet, almost whispering.

"Mom I'm not fucking around with her she's still a virgin." Nathan said

"I swear to god Nathan if you are just using her I'm gonna beat your ass. I've had enough girls coming back to this house crying cause you've broken their hearts, and I'm not gonna deal with that anymore." Nathans mom said. I was kinda shocked his mom knew he was a fuckboy. But I should walk out there so they don't argue anymore.

"Hey Mrs. Andrews there is no towels in here to dry your hands off with." I said to her. Walking down the hallway.

"Oh Nathan go get a towel and put it in the bathroom." Mrs. Andrews said.

"So what all are you making?" I asked politely.

"Eggs, bacon, pancakes, and there is some fruit in the fridge." She said.
