chapter #3. School

Mayas POV

As I'm in the middle of getting ready for school, I hear footsteps down the hallway. I thought it was Nathan but the footsteps were Nathan's but they were too light.

"Boo!" My friend Amber Thompson yells. As I almost have a heart attack.

Just an FYI Amber Thompson is my bestfriend and yes I only have one friend. But she is a hoe, she knows she's a hoe and she doesn't care. And neither do I. As long as it doesn't bring attention towards me I'm fine with it. And the reason she's my only friend is cause shes not fake or a bitch. Like mostly everyone in this highschool.

"Holy crap! You nearly gave me a heart attack!!" I said

"Oh well. Why did I see Nathan walk out of your house?" Amber asked wiggling her eyebrows.

"Shut up, my mom and his mom made an agreement type thing so he had to stay the night here. Before you ask, no he did not sleep in my room. You know I'm not like that." I said

"Oh fine, but we better head to school, or we're gonna be late."

When I got to school I was hoping that Nathan just went home. Or got sick, and decided he didn't want to come to school. But no he came to school.

----

When I got to third period my stomach started to hurt. So I decided that I was gonna go to my locker and get some pills for it until someone yanked me into the janitors closet.

Before I could scream a hand covered my mouth.

And then I heard a deep, raspy voice. Immediately I knew who it was.

"Be quiet!" Nathan said taking his hand off my mouth.

"What are you doing!" I yelled in a whisper tone.

"Shhhh" Nathan whispered while putting his hand back over my mouth and pushing me up against the wall.

"Look I know you want to kiss me but I'm hear to talk about something else."

"Yah no sorry, I actually don't" I said in a bitchy tone.

And before he could say anything I ran out of that closet. Who knows what would have happened if I would have stayed in there any longer! Would I have had my first kiss?

4th period is in 2 minutes. I dread going to 4th period so much cause, well Nathan is in that class he's also in my 6th.

2 minutes later

The only reason I hate this class is cause Nathan. The reason why is cause he's so loud and will always throw stuff at me.

I feel someone tap on my shoulder. Ugh it's Nathan.

"What do you want nathan" I said

He handed me a note. What the hell is this I say to myself.

"I know you still want to hook up after what happened when I stayed over at your house." Nathan wrote.

"Nothing happened in my room last night." I wrote back.

"Whatever your loss." He whispers in my ear. Sending shivers down my back.

Everyone starts to gather up there things cause class has 1 minute left. As I was gathering my stuff Nathan comes up behind me and purposely grabs my butt. Right as the bell rang I turned around and smacked him right on the cheek. Everyone gasped.

As soon as I smacked him I knew I made a mistake. Cause when I looked up at him, his eyes were dark, I bolted out of the classroom. To the girls restroom. Hoping that he wouldn't know I was in there. Also hoping that he wasn't waiting outside the bathroom.

10 minutes later I get out of the restroom and thankfully no one is waiting outside of the restroom. Fyi it's lunch so everyone is in the cafeteria or driving somewhere to eat. Thankfully you didn't have to exit out the cafeteria.

Lunch is over and it's time for 5th period. I wasn't feeling good so I decided to go home and take a nap.

----

It's 4 o'clock now, and I just woke up. From my nap.

"Maya, come down here and help your father and I put the groceries away." My mom yells to me.

"Okay be down there in a sec." I yelled back.

As soon as I get to the bottom of the stairs I hear a knock on the front door.

"I've got it!" My mom yells

*10 minutes later*

"So who was that?" I ask my mom.

"Oh it was Mrs.andrews. she invited all of us over to dinner. Because of what happened last night." My mom said as I stare at her.

"What did you say?" I ask.

"Well of course I said yes. Why would I say no?" My mom said.

Oh shit I thought in my head.
