Mayas POV

Today our new neighbors are moving in!!! And I'm actually excited for neighbors. That house next door hasn't had anyone in it since I was 5 years old. It was a really nice house though. But anyways my family doesn't know who they are yet. ( By my family, I mean my Mom, Dad, and I.) Ugh this is killing me I want to know who is moving in next door to us. Will they have a son? Will they have a daughter? If so do I know them?!?!

So my mom and dad talked to the neighbors and asked them to have dinner with us tonight. So obviously they said yes.

The bad thing about having dinner with them is that I have to dress up! I'm not the dressy type of girl. So it kinda sucks.

I look in my closet and try to find something nice to wear and all I found was a dress... great. I'm not gonna lie this dress is really cute. It's like a burgundy colour. So I decided that I was gonna pair it with a black long cardigan . As soon as I was done getting dressed I put my hair in a cute side bun. And put on a natural makeup look. Fyi I barely ever wear makeup cause im not that good at it.

5 minutes ago my mom called me down stairs cause the neighbors were here but I had to finish the chapter I was reading in my book.

When im heading downstairs I noticed that I was a little nervous. But I didn't know why. So I decided to shake it off.

I freeze have way down the stairs when I see that Nathan Andrews was in my house. The star quarterback of the football team, the guy that's on A team for basketball, the most popular guy in my highschool, the playboy of the school, the bad boy of school, the guy that has slept with just about every girl in the school.

"Maya, come meet the neighbors." My mom says as I'm still staring at Nathan. After my mom said that Nathan turns around and smirks when he saw me staring at him.

When I make my way to the table. My mom introduced me to the neighbors. It was awkward, for me cause I'm a little shy.

"Maya come help me bring the food to the table." My mom says to me.

As I get up I notice that Nathan is looking me up and down. Was he checking me out? Ewww. Then he looks up to see me looking at him again and smirks.

It's been about halve an hour now. And Nathan's parents are actually really nice, and cool. Why can't he be like his parents. And not a douche. Thank the Lord that he didn't try to start a convo with me. But he did look at me as if trying to make me one of the girls that have one night stands with him. But I just looked away when he gave me looks.

* Iphone ring tone *
"Hello?" Nathan's mom answers her phone.

30 secs later she ends the call.

Nathan's mom has a worried look on her face.

"I'm soo sorry, but I just got a call from my manager saying that me and my husband have to head to the airport for a business trip. But we will be back tomarrow." Said Nathan's mom.

"It's fine, we totally understand." My mom said truthfully.

"Nathan can stay over here since this will be your guys first night here, and you don't really know the neighborhood that well. Even though he's a senior." My mom asked them.

As my mom said that I was hoping for his parents to say no.

"Actually that would be great just so we don't have to worry about the house burning down." His mom said laughing.

Nathan looks over at me, and winks.
