This is a disclaimer for how the story will progress. My ideal plan for it is to fallow suit with other romance novels. That includes sex and other adult themes. Being said I am trying to keep the setting of this story and the plot of the original have their alignments and differences. This is my interpretation of a very old story. I want to include various common stereotypes for older stories as well as my own personal spin: blood, gore, domestic abuse, mental illness, talking animals (no actual animals but "were" animals), having an antagonist but not even mentioning them until later on.
With that I want to make my own illustrated cover (that's why there is no cover) and possibly create an animated series based off of this novel. At this moment in time I have a lot of writing inspiration but I also have school. Each "chapter" is short as I am going off of the draft on my google drive were I originally wrote the story. Hopefully this story will convey the complexity that I have intended for this story.
With the more graphic scenes I will not be vague but I won't be blunt. The scenes are going to be called graphic for a reason. Much time and energy will be put into making the scenes as detailed as they can be. I want the reader to be engrossed with this world of 17th century France. I am so intrigued with this story I have even started to take French as another language to learn more about the history. If I find something that isn't accurate I will edit it to fit the accuracy I am looking for.
I want to start a consistent schedule of posting every Sunday night or every other Sunday night. As I finish up the story (it isn't even close to being finished at the moment) I won't mark it as finished until I see it as hard copy material. This novel will be going through a fine sift as it will be edited not only by myself but by friends, family and possibly a publishing company if I can get a hold of one.
With that being said this isn't my only passion. I am also a free lance artist and I am hoping to delve into some animation. If you guys could support me in other areas it would help a lot to free up the time I can free up to produce my content as quickly as I can :)

A Retelling of "Beauty and the Beast"
FantasíaThis is a retelling of the famous French fiary tail. I've personally modeled this story off of the original novel that was written just about the 1500's or so. Enjoy at your own risk.
