"Good," Parkis nodded, "I said I would deal with her later, we must meet with my guild members, prepare for bloodshed tonight I will not have them disobey me again."

Alexander nodded in reply as he followed Parkis exhaustedly along the shapely path of dirt and stones. It had seemed like hours when Alexander was finally told they were in at the edge of the kingdom and the village. He looked along the rocky coast of the sea, this is when the rain started to gently pour down onto the earth bellow. It was cold and wet and sent shivers through the land. The sea water crashed onto the edge of the crest splashing upwards along the cliffs. The ports were flooding with fresh rain and salty crashes. Several ships could be seen floating about at the docks awaiting to leave the windy storm.

"Great," Alexander said putting his hood up and tucking the neck cover up over his face.

"This is only the beginning of it my dear boy," Parkis said unamused.

He walked into the open down the back ally of the kingdom's streets. There were houses and each house had a different symbol on their door. As they ventured further into the kingdom the symbols turned to names on wooden signs and eventually to a bigger house with a metal plate carved with a name in it. Alexander said each name in his head and looked around curiously at the people heading for shelter. People were packing up their merchandise stands and shipping away carts full of boxes. There was shouting in the distance, a dispute over two citizens and the payment. People were talking and cursing about the blood rain that made Alexander's spine tingle with that eerie feeling again.

Parkis seemed to walk amongst the people unnoticed; he was blending in far more than Alexander has guessed. There was the odd damp picture of Parkis on the wanted poster which flapped in the musty wind that brought rain. Widely known as the 'King Killer' he walked confidently in his fox fur disguise without hesitation. Head held high as if the posters were representing him as the most wanted and best criminal in the entire land of Skie. The description was of a man in a white rabbit mask dressed all in black suit with white gloves and a tall hat. They also describe him in traditional robes of assassins, sleek black and red material with the symbol of a marked shield and crown on top in a form of a crest. Alexander had yet to see Parkis in this dress, let along the full tuxedo magician look. He laughed to himself at the irony of Parkis pulling a rabbit out of his hat as he is a rabbit.

Drips caught on Alexander's face just before they headed towards an alleyway with arching roofs that connected the buildings. Parkis lead them down a winding twist of stone bricks until they finally arrived at a storm cellar door attached to an older looking building. They crawled down careful of the broken boards. Parkis grabbed a candle near the old dusty shelf and lit a match placing it over the wick. The room was glowing with dust floating around and odd sounds from above. He gestured for Alexander to catch up to him before going down into a flight of spiraling stairs. There were voices chattering about as they entered the large underground room. Red carpets and drapes spread around, chandeliers sparkled intensely in the arches of the ceiling. Paintings were hung about the walls with the crest symbol place openly in the middle of the wall.

There were five people sitting at the table with drinks in their hands. They stopped their muttering as Parkis stepped into the room. Looking up Alexander noticed they all were demons in black and red, they all had the same crest as Parkis did.

"Welcome home Parkis." One of the smaller less noticeable demon said.

Parkis eyed them cautiously before walking closer, "Where are the others?"

She spoke again with more of a worried tone, "they were on a mission, Kage came by earlier, said you was back from the human world, bit of trouble amongst the spirits I recon."
