(POV) Leila
Adrianna scared me. She sounded worried, I didn't know what was going on...but I was afraid. And she was staying with a friend? What friend? I couldn't even process out what could have happened with Adri..I have never seen her like this. Well she was coming over soon and I had to tell Princeton.
Me: Prince?
Princeton: yeah I'm in the kitchen.
I walked through a couple hallways until I finally found the kitchen. Princeton was by the counter, waiting for the popcorn to be done in the microwave.
Me: hey is it ok if Adri stops by? She said she had to tell me something
Princeton: your cousin? yeah but its fine you didn't have to ask
Me: no its just I don't know, I was just on the phone with her and she sounded werid.
Princeton: I'm sure she will be fine.
Me: I don't know, I never heard her so scared in my life.
Princeton: what do you mean?
Me: Like she didn't sound like herself, she sounded scared, like she was running from something.
I jumped, there was a loud banging coming from the other room
Princeton: relax, its just someone at the door.
Me: Prince wait!
I grabbed Princeton by his shirt, tripping over the table and we both fell, laying down face to face. Princeton started blushing and his breath smelled cool, like 5 gum or something. I could feel his heartbeat on my chest. His lips looked red and pierce and I reached up and kissed them, suddenly the banging got louder, his lips pressed aganist mine, and.....
Voice: Leila!!! Lili are you there?? OPEN THE DOOR!! HELLO???
My lips pulled away from Princeton
Me: I think thats Adrianna
Princeton nodded and rose up and grabbed my hand and helped me up. I fixed my shirt a little and I hurried to the door. I opened and Adrianna was banging so hard damn near was about to knock me out, possibly breaking my glasses and injuring my face.
Adrianna closed her umbrella and rushed past me.
Me: Hey Adri
Adrianna: we need to talk now!
Me: uhhh ok
Princeton: hey Adrianna
Adrianna: hi, um is there somewhere I can talk to my cousin in private?
Princeton: uhh, I'll be upstairs Lili.
