Leila (POV)
I woke up the next morning, and reached for my phone and surprisingly I had no new texts or calls. I thought this was extremely strange. None from Princeton. I looked at the time and it was almost noon and then I heard footsteps, Adrianna popped in my room.
"hey sleepy head" she said.
"hey" I groaned. Stratching my curly hair.
"hey Lili, don't trip but your mom is downstairs." said Adrianna
I popped up. "What?!" I yelled.
"SHHHHH!" said Adrianna. "Be quiet. I don't know if she's here to pick you up, but she's downstairs talking to Grandma Kathy, so be quiet." said Adrianna.
"Fine." I mumbled quietly. "Why is she here?"
"I guess because of everything that has happened, she must have flown down here to see if your ok." said Adrianna.
"well then, thats good, because I have to talk to her about the whole twin thing. I wanna know why." I said.
"I don't know if you should do that, but fine. I need to go anyway, I don't wanna be stuck here, I just wanna leave, I'm gonna go hang with Diggy in the studio, ok?" said Adrianna.
"ok, call me. Please come back, I don't wanna stay here alone with my mom and Grandma Kathy." I said.
"alright, I'll see you soon cuz." said Adrianna as she walked out of the room.Then my phone rang. It was Diamond.
"hello?" I said.
"hey Lili, how are you. I haven't heard from you since yesterday and I was wondering if you were doing good." said Diamond in a low tone.
"Yeah I am, I managed to work out things with everyone, but Diamond, I found out some stuff from Adrianna, it makes so much sense." I said.
"What?" she said.
"You are adopted, like you told me before but thats because my mom gave you up for adoption because my Grandma Kathy wanted my mom to get an abortion and maybe she couldn't take care of both of us, so I don't know." I said.
"So your mom is my real mom?" asked Diamond.
"Yeah, she is, I guess."
"Can I meet her?" asked Diamond.
"Yeah sure if you want. I mean she's here now. But I don't know if thats such a good thing because a lot has happened yesterday." I replied.
"Like what?" she asked.
"My Uncle is in the hospital, but he's ok. There was a fire in my Uncle's house, and my Step-aunt died, my step-cousin is in critical condition and no one knows where my other cousin Tamira is."
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry you lost her, and I'm happy your Uncle is ok."
"Its fine, she wasn't much of a step-aunt to me anyway. To be honest, its sad but in a way Adrianna and I are relieved she isn't here, she tried to kill my Uncle."I replied.
"Oh my god, how?"asked Diamond.
"Its a long story but my Uncle became real sick after they got married a couple years ago." I said."My cousin believes my step-aunt has been drugging him." I said
"wow, how do you deal with all of this?" asked Diamond.
"I don't know, I just do, I'm finally feeling like everything is over, but it isn't. I wanna know why my mom gave you up for adoption." I asked.
"Leila?"
"Yeah?"
"Can I tell you something?"
