Chapter 18: Joined Forces.

Leila (POV)

Princeton and I pulled up to my Uncle's house. There was smoke and everything around the house. Firefighters and policeman. And to my suprise there were police cars and ambulances surrounding the block and my Uncle's house. Oh shit. Uncle. I popped off my helmet and ran towards the house. I screamed.

"Adrianna???!!!??" I yelled. Princeton ran behind me. But a policeman pulled me back.Princeton was trying to calm me, but he couldn't. I was confused as hell right now and my mind was racing.

"STAWP!! Where the hell is my cousin, where is my uncle...what happened????" I cried.  I yelled and screamed and punched the policeman to let me go past and I saw a familar face on one of the emergency portable hospital beds. It was my Step-Aunt....and one of them was La La....but where the fuck was my Uncle and Adrianna??

The firefighter pulled me off to the side.

"Who are you?" He asked. :Are you the niece of..." "YES!" I interupted. "I am, can you please tell me what the hell is going on? Is my Uncle ok? My cousin Adrianna?"

"Your uncle is in the hospital, he was checked in last night for heart failure, but he's doing fine now. He wasn't in this fire. But your cousin or sister is in deep medical condition. And your Aunt, I'm sorry to say dear, but shes dead...we have been trying to revive her for a while now, but she has been confirmed dead." he replied.

My body froze. My Step Aunt was dead. She was gone.

The firefighter pulled the policeman off of me. And pulled me back off to the side. I felt Princeton grab me over to him.

I started to cry in his arms. Not because of my step aunt but because of Adrianna. I wasn't sure if she was ok.

Prince just held me. He didn't say anything, his hugs were comfort enough but my eyes were shot bloodred and I could tell. My tears wouldn't stop falling and I just cried quietly. Then suddenly the blurry sight of Ahmala, Roc, Prod and Adrianna and believe it or not Diggy running from a car paked across the street. Adrianna was ok. I pulled away from Princeton and ran into the arms of Adrianna. She was crying too.

"Leila I AM SOOOOO SORRY FOR EVERYTHING. I really am. I missed you, I'm glad your ok, wait whats going on?"

Me: There was a fire. Mommy dearest is gone. She died in the fire. The firefighters tried to revive her but they couldn't, and Uncle is in the hospital but he's ok. And La La is in deep medical condition they just rushed her to the hospital. What are we gonna do Adrianna???

"I don't know, but I guess we have to stay with Grandma. She lives in near St Monica Pier. I have to call her. I can't believe this is happening Leila. Its over." replied Adrianna.

I wiped my tears and the firefighters pulled Adrianna and I away. The firefighter asked if we had any relatives to stay with, and Adrianna gave them our Grandma's number. Why couldn't we stay with them earlier. The firefighter said the fire almost spread to the upper part of the house but just the downstairs, the kitchen, living room and office rooms are damanged. That means that our stuff wasn't harmed. The firefighter said a cigarette started the fire. Mommy Dearest must have been smoking and fell asleep and set the house on fire and she died from too much arsenin in her lungs. Damn.
