Leila (POV)
I walked down the sidewalk alone. My whole body sticky and the sun beaming down on my scalp. My bouncy curls turned into naps I could feel it. My dress was still a little soaked. And the tears continued down my face. Everything that just happened, happened so fast. I was having so much fun, and then everything seemed to go wrong. For some reason it feels as if every time something went wrong, Princeton
made it better like a fairy Godmother or something. And I don't think anything will make it better. At all. Kalie I knew she didn't like me, but I don't understand why and how. I could think about it all I want, but it isn't gonna change shit and I just have to move on. I kicked the glass heel off my foot in frustration. There was nothing I could possibly do.

Princeton (POV)
Everything was a mess. After my mom and Aline just finished yelling at me. Everything just happened in a daze. I just broke up with Leila. Leila. I couldn't think straight. All the anger in me just built up. Seeing RJ, having him ruin my cousin's party. Mariela looked at me in anger and began crying after. My mom and my aunt Aline somehow are still trying to get things back in place. Then Prod, Ray and Roc approached me.
Me: yeah?
Roc: we bout to head out,
Ray: yeah we'll see you later bro, tell your cousin I'm real sorry.
Prince: Ight I will, later
Ray & Roc left and walked towards the front entrance of the houses and disappeared. Prod was still here.
Prod: can I ask why?
Prince: why what?
Prod: why in the world you broke up with Leila? That was beyond her control.
Prince: like you know, aye Prod its none of your business
Prod: ok but it's obvious to see that Leila? Leila wasn't the only one hurt here.
Before I could say anything Prod walked away, towards the entrance too. I needed to find Leila. I don't know what I just did. I looked around, everyone was dancing and talking. I walked toward the house and snuck towards the front.
"Where you are you going?"
Shit. I turned around. Kalie?
Me: Kalie?
Kalie: where you going jbear?
Jbear? She hasn't called me that since the time when we were dating.
Me: why do you care?
Kalie: I wanna come with you.
Me: you don't need to, I need to find Leila, you seen her?
Kalie: not since you cussed her out and she left in tears, no.
I looked down, there was something shining in the distance. I walked past Kalie, and towards the driveway gate. It was the blue slipper Leila has on. Damn.
Kalie: so the tramp left her stamp?
Me: huh?
Kalie: nothing I said so she left her shoe?
Me: I'll be back Kalie.
Kalie: please don't tell me your chasing after that trash?
Me: what are you taking about?
