Luke paused for a second as a doctor came over to them. The doctor pulled Luke out into the hallway as Luke's heart shattered.
"Luke," the doctor paused. "Ashton seems to have lost all his memories of the people, and events in his life. I know this might sound insane, but I read his file. He was abused, and raped at a young age. I don't know if you would think this Luke, but I think it would be better if he didn't remember that happening. Being exposed to familiar people and places would help restore his memory, but he would suffer with his thoughts again, and you might end up losing Ashton to suicide. Maybe him forgetting is better than letting him remember."
Luke knew the doctor was right.
"Is anyone here on break at the moment?" Luke asked.
"Karma is, but why are y-"
Luke cut the doctor off. "Take this, and tell him to go buy the biggest engagement ring he can find, size six. Price doesn't matter." Luke paused handing him his credit card. "I'm going to talk to Ashton."
Luke walked back in, and smiled at the boy.
"So who am I? Since I don't really know myself." Ashton asked with a giggle. He seemed so happy, and his giggle sounded like heaven.
"I lied a little, Darling. I'm a little more than your boyfriend, I'm your fiancé. The only name you need to know yourself by is Ashton Hemmings." Luke paused hold Ashton's hand.
"Ashton Hemmings? I like it, how old am I?" Ashton asked.
"You are 16." Luke said smiling.
"That's a big age gap and also seems illegal, do I live with you or my parents?" Ashton asked smiling.
"You live with me." Luke said kissing the boy's forehead making him giggle. He's so happy.
"Where do we live?" Ashton asked.
"We are actually moving soon, we hadn't decided on the country yet, I was thinking England my Darling." Luke said lying through his teeth.
"Luke, I actually have two more very important questions." Ashton said smiling.
"Ask away." Luke said.
"If I live with you, Where are my parents? And How did I get in the hospital?"
