"State your current age."

"I'm 19."

"Relationship with the victims or the accused?"

"I was friends with Ashton when he was 13 and I was 16."

"How was Ashton's relationship with his father?"

"Horrible, I helped Ashton after his first suicide attempt, and I don't know if Ashton knew, but I knew Ashton didn't cause the bruises all over his own body. It was impossible for Ashton to do those things to himself. I was sixteen then and my dad was a cop, so I-"

Patrick paused hanging his head.

"I tapped into the security cameras of Ashton's house. I saw everything."

"Do you have these tapes?"

"No, but-"

Patrick paused and looked straight at Ashton's dad.

"I know he does."
