When we were 16 you started asking how I was.

~

"Hey," you smiled as you bounced into line with me.

"Hi," I smiled back.

"How are you? Answer honestly," you would say.

~

I would answer honestly and so would you. If I said I was angry, frustrated, upset, or any other negative emotion you would ruffle my hair and smile, showing me your dimples. That made me smile. You made me smile.

If you ever felt any negative emotion I would take my fingers and either make you smile or I would put them where your dimples were.

All though we had fun cheering each other up, one day I couldn't cheer you up.
