When we were 22 I had to check you into a mental facility. While talking to the doctors they told me it wasn't your first time attempting.

We couldn't see each other at the café for awhile. I visited you, but you seemed so drained, distant, numb.

~
"Hello, Hoseok." I greeted you. You slightly nodded as you sat on the other side of the glass that separated us. I hated the glass, it made me feel like you were in some sort of prison.

I didn't call you hobie or even J-hope anymore, because you told me that it made you miss holding me even more and you didn't want to cry infront of me.

"Hi." You greeted back.

"How are you today?" I asked the same question everyday and I got the same answer. At this point our conversations were the exact same everyday.

"Better, I'll be able to go home soon."

No, you wouldn't be home soon. I know because you've told me that for the past month, nothing has changed.

"That's good," I answered.

"How are you?" you asked and for once I said the truth, just like when we used to be in the café everyday.

"Horrible, hobie, horrible," I responded. This started a different conversation.

"I'm sorry," you said, looking down.

"Hobie?" I said. You looked up at me with misty eyes. "Please smile, for me?" I asked. You smiled a weak smile as one silent tear made its way down your cheek to rest on the tip of your chin.

"I miss you," you said as more tears made glistening paths down your face.

"I miss you too," I said as a tear made its way down my own face. You immediately reached out to quickly wipe it away, but as your hand hit the glass you made the most heartbreaking expression.

As you saw that you couldn't reach my face your face showed regret. You eyebrows furrowed almost as if you didn't understand, your eyes immediately became dull and you went completely pale. You looked down at your hand and then up at me. Your face completely changed expressions.

You smiled at me; showing your dimples. You poked your dimples and made weird noises. I laughed at your weird actions which earned us a couple of weird stares.

"Do you remember when I used to do that when you were sad?" you asked, still smiling.

"Yeah," I nodded, smiling.

"I'll be home soon," You promised.
