Hey , my name is Ebony Gianna Helms. I am 20 years old. And I have a 4 year old daughter named Onyx Lafaye Helms. Onyx's father isn't in the picture and hasn't been since he found out I was pregnant with her , i was only 16 and he was 18 graduating soon. He told me he loved me and I was young and stupid. We dated for 3 months and were having sex like there was no tomorrow. A week had passed since the last time we had sex and I hadn't felt good at all.

"Aug I haven't been feeling good lately. What if I'm pregnant ? What we gon do ?" I panicked sitting on his bed. My parents kicked me out when I started dating August. They said they didn't want me dating a thug. I didn't care though. "I love you baby. I gotchu." He said in his sexy New Orleans accent. "Okay." Was all I said. I got dressed and went down to the corner store to get a pregnancy test. I got it , paid for it and went back to Aug's place. He was sleep on the couch when I got back so I went straight to the bathroom and peed on the stick. *5 minutes pass* I looked at the test and nearly fainted. I was pregnant. I walked downstairs and woke Aug up. "Bae." I shook him. "Huh?" He woke up and rubbed his eyes. "H-here." I handed him the test and his face went from sleepy to angry in .5 seconds. "Get out. Now." He spoke and his hand started shaking. "B-" "get the fuck out Ebony!! That ain't my baby!!" He yelled. I quickly packed a few things and went to a friend's house.

That was the last time I saw him. I kept my baby , and moved to La . I go to UCLA. And work at Atlantic records , I'm a receptionist. I live in a 3 bedroom , 3 bathroom condo down by the beach.
My baby is the one great thing in my life. I love her to death and yes my sweet baby is spoiled!! She knows her dad isn't in her life but she thinks he's in Europe , I don't wanna give him a bad name in her head , even though he did me dirty , she doesn't need to think that she's a bad person and that's why her dad left . No , not happening to my baby. So until I think she's ready , she will think that her father is in Europe , working on a big project.
