Naddy walked into the training room and glared at Darry, I'd say if looks could kill he'd be dead but it wasn't that bad, she didn't want him dead, she just temporarily hated him.
Stopping in front of him she narrowed her eyes "Why didn't you tell me you were a prince!? Scratch that, why didn't you tell me you were the prince, the one person out of the 4 or 5 royal families that would be next to take the throne!""I didn't tell you because I thought you knew,"he calmly stated
"How would I of known!?"
"You knew I was royal didn't you?"
"Well yeah, I'm not that stupid, I thought you an Allanic, Lyetton, or a Marriett, I didn't know you were a Roseheart!" She exclaimed, naming four out of the five royal families
"So what if I'm a Roseheart, so what if I'm the heir to the throne. It doesn't change anything!"
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Thought you knew, I already said that,"
"Don't lie to me, I know you knew I didn't know. So why didn't you tell me?"
"I don't want to talk about it," he ground out through clenched teeth
"Why?"
"Turn invisible, let's go back to training"
"No. Not until you tell me,"
Darry gave a defeated sigh ",Fine, I didn't tell you because you didn't treat me differently because I was that prince, you didn't know I was him so you treated me like a normal person and it was nice. Now can we start your training?"
"Yeah ok, thank you for telling me. And Darry?"
"Yeah?"
"If it helps I won't treat you differently,"
"Thanks, I should of told-" Darry stopped abruptly and his eyes went wide as if he just realised something
"Enough of this, back to training!"Shocked and confused by his sudden mood change, Naddy only nodded then walked to the middle of the training room.
Concentrating on her surroundings, she tried to reflect it and thus appear invisible. At first it was hard, but when she learned to open her gaze and take everything in -not just concentrate on one thing- she got the hang if it really fast.
Unfortunately being invisible only means people can't see you, they can still hear, smell, and touch you. So when she tried to sneak up on Darry his keen senses picked it up and lightning fast he grabbed her wrist.
"Bangles!" She exclaimed
"Better luck next time," he let her go only once she was visible again.
The rest of the training for the day consisted of Naddy turning invisible many times, trying to do it fast, trying to hold it for ages, and trying to sneak up on Darry, though she never had many success on that last one- which is a good thing for him.
~*~*~*~*~
That evening Naddy met up with Dill to catch up. As they sat on the grass they talked about anything and everything.
"So how are you and Darry going?"
"I think we're going well, we had an argument this morning though,"
"Honestly I'm not surprised, he must of realised how annoying you are," he grinned
She laughed and shoved him playfully
"Hush up, I am not!""Okay okay I'm kidding. What were you arguing about?"
"Uhh I may or may not have gotten mad at him for not telling me he was the prince,"
"Naddy.." He sighed, shaking his head.
"What?" She said innocently, when he didn't reply, she asked him something ",Hey Dill? Are there four or five royal familes? I can only name four but I thought there were five, Allanic, Lyetton, Marriett, Roseheart, and..."
"There's five, the four that you mentioned and there's also the Gildea family. But there's no one left of that family, it was always the people's favourite, as you know after two people from the same family have ruled there is a vote to decide which family will rule next, although the same family can't be picked twice in a row. Gildea was picked whenever it could be, unfortunately though their last ruler was King Adrian, he was a great ruler but he has no alive heirs so there's only four remaining royal families,"
"That's sad... Okay now on a completely different note, are you dating anyone yet? We haven't talked like this in ages so your status could of changed since then,"
"Actually yeah, I'm seeing this guard from the castle,"
"Ooo yay! How long? Why didn't you say anything?"
"About a year, I didn't tell you because you didn't know about Wyrdhaven and you would of pestered me to meet him and I didn't tell you once you knew because I wanted you to get used to everything first,"
"Okay what's his name?"
"Raymond, but he prefers Ray,"
"Hair colour?"
"He's a red head,"
"Eye colour?"
"Hazel,"
"Any siblings?"
"He's got a sister named Lucy, who I believe is one of your instructors,"
"Age?"
"18,"
"You're 17,"
"Yeah but my birthday is tomorrow,"
"Of course big boy, but you're still 17 today and were for the past year,"
"Are you coming to the celebration tomorrow? You'll learn our 18th birthday tradition,"
"Of course I'm coming- wait there's a tradition?"
"Yeah, you run a lap of the gym whilst using your power under the surveillance of the royals, your friends, and your family,"
"Oh.. How are you meant to use your powers. Apportant-wise you can just make an object on the other side of the room, teleport it to you, then remove it. But how are you going to demonstrate your psychometric abilities? How are you going to demonstrate the ability of knowing information about the owner of object by touching it, how are you going to demonstrate that while running a lap of the gym?"
"One of the royals chucks one of their belongings at you and tells you to tell them their favourite colour? I'm not sure but I'll find out tomorrow,"
"Oh ok, well good luck tomorrow,"
