No matter how hard he tossed and turned, (M/N) couldn't awaken from his nightmare. He was trapped inside of the dreadful dream with monstrous creatures chasing after him. He couldn't outrun them, though. The creatures were more superior in speed and strength. That's why he could barely put up a distance between them and himself. It's also why he had been soon caught in their embrace of death. "No! Please let me go!" (M/N) cried, while the monsters wickedly grinned and bit into his neck, as his body instantly jolted up into a sitting position and a scream escaped his mouth. "Ahhh!"
When he had stopped screaming, (M/N) felt his body being brought into a comforting hug. He had recognized his boyfriend's gentle touch and relaxed into it. He was still afraid and frightened, though. His body trembled and his (E/C) orbs fearfully darted around the bedroom. "It was just a dream, (M/N). You're awake now. Nothing can hurt you," Ruki said, while kissing his forehead, as (M/N) cried and sat down in his boyfriend's lap. "Do you want to talk about it?"
Unfortunately, (M/N) didn't know what to make of his nightmare. The monstrous creatures chasing him looked like humans. They still weren't humans, though. They had unnatural speed, strength, and sharp fangs. His description made them into vampires. He laughed a bit and cuddled his face into his boyfriend's shoulder. He didn't believe in supernatural creatures and especially vampires. He didn't think those things existed. Perhaps in old books and nightmares once in a while. "It sounds silly. But, I dreamt about vampires chasing me. They were trying to eat me," (M/N) said, while wiping away his tears, as his boyfriend strangely smiled at him. "I thought you would laugh, too. It's such a silly nightmare now that I think about it. Vampires don't exist."
Surprisingly, (M/N)'s boyfriend just only continued smiling at him without answering. He didn't know why. His boyfriend could have been trying to frighten him. He wasn't like that, though. Ruki was a caring and sweet young man who loved him so much. "Who knows, (M/N)? They could exist and always in the last place you would look," Ruki said, while (M/N) giggled and pinched his boyfriend's cheeks, as he thought that the older boy was making fun of him. "Let me read you a story. It will give you nicer dreams this time."
