Upon walking home from school, (M/N) had heard strange sobs resonating from within the deep dark woods, expect the strange sobs sounded very much like a child crying. However, (M/N) was still a little skeptical, especially after most of the children in his neighborhood stayed clear of the dingy and dark woods. Even so, (M/N) wanted to investigate the mysterious sobbing, not wanting to abandon someone who might need his help. "Hello? Is anyone in here?" (M/N) asked, while cautiously stepping over dried and dead tree branches, as an owl's calls echoed and drowned out his voice. "I can hear you crying. Where are you?"
Once he had trudged through the tiny woods, (M/N) stood before an extravagant and expensive estate, encircled protectively inside of tall and thick iron gates. So, (M/N) stepped back and retreated from their premises, not wanting to be accused of trespassing or something of that sort. But, (M/N) hadn't gotten far in his retreat from the towering mansion, especially after stumbling into the little boy he had heard crying just earlier. "Who are you? My name is (M/N)," (M/N) squeaked, while jogging up to the sosphicately dressed little boy, as the sobbing stranger stared at him with wide and teary baby blue eyes. "What's wrong? Are you hurt?"
In due time, (M/N) sat down next to the tearful little boy, (E/C) eyes soon noticing a puppy cradled inside of the blonde boy's arms. Without hesitation, (M/N) leaned closer to his crying companion, peering down adoringly at his cute puppy. So, (M/N) started wondering why the little boy keeps crying, considering that he has such a cute puppy. "I'm Shu ..." the blonde said, while sniffling and hugging his puppy, as (M/N) clutched his book bag and listened to the tearful little boy. "My mommy says I can't keep him. But I can't just throw him out into the woods. A wolf might get him. And then, I won't ever see him again."
In an instant, (M/N) offered his help to Shu, especially since his family runs a pet shelter. So, (M/N) knew his parents wouldn't object to taking in another puppy, considering Shu's puppy is just so absolutely adorable. But, (M/N) didn't know if Shu would agree, not sure if his crying companion was ready to let go of his puppy just yet. "You don't have to worry. My family owns a pet shelter. We can look after your puppy for you," (M/N) said, while watching Shu blink in surprise at him, as (M/N) blushed and bit his lower lip nervously. "You can come visit him, too."
Fortunately, (M/N) saw Shu smile in agreement, reluctantly handing his precious puppy over. Without hesitation, (M/N) eagerly accepted Shu's cute puppy, protectively cradling and cuddling the small puppy in his arms. After all, (M/N) just adores taking care of dogs and puppies, especially since his family owns a pet shelter. "Thank you, (M/N)," Shu said, while leaning in close and quickly pecking (M/N)'s left cheek, as the (H/C) haired boy brightly blushed and started stuttering. "Um ... I better go now. I'll see you later, (M/N)!"
