For a while now, (M/N) had hid inside of the emerald green maze. He hadn't been able to sleep. He had kept tossing and turning for no reason. His best friend suggested a game of hide and seek, then. It was supposed to tire him out. It wasn't working, though. The little game was making him feel quite competitive, in fact. "He won't find me in here," (M/N) said, while peaking his head out of the maze, as arms coiled around his hips from behind and pulled him into an embrace. "How did you find me, Subaru? I thought this was a good hiding spot."
In an instant, (M/N) had turned around and glared at his best friend. The silver haired boy always found him. He just didn't understand how, though. His hiding spots weren't obvious places, after all. It makes him quite angry now to think about. "You already know I'm a vampire. My senses are superior, then," Subaru said, while watching (E/C) orbs widen in realization, as (M/N) frowned and looked down at the ground. "I can smell your blood. I can also hear your heartbeats."
Without hesitation, (M/N) had looked up and pouted. It wasn't fair. His best friend was in a way cheating. The silver haired boy could smell his blood and hear his heartbeats, after all. Those things alone gave away his hiding spots. "You're cheating, then! It isn't fair," (M/N) said, while hearing an amused chuckle, as his best friend kissed him on the lips. "Not working, sweetie."
Then, (M/N) had been plucked off of the ground princess style. He smiled and cuddled into his best friend's embrace. He knew that he couldn't blame his best friend for cheating. He was a vampire, after all. It was in his nature to use vampiric powers and senses. "I like this. I wish you could carry me like this all the time," (M/N) confessed, while the breeze billowed his nightgown around, as Subaru laughed and walked towards the mansion. "Next time you're going to hide. And, I'm going to seek."
