Even though he had been stealthy about the trespassing, Prince (M/N) had been still seized and snatched right out of the air, caught captive and clutched threateningly tight inside of someone's strong and slender pair of arms. However, Prince (M/N) had begun thrashing and twisting around quickly, trying to wiggle and writhe out of the sturdy arms coiled and curled around his hips. Unfortunately, Prince (M/N) had begun being squeezed tighter and tighter inside of their grasp, restrained and repressed from forming any and all types of movement. "You just can't stay away, can you?" a familiar voice said, while Prince (M/N) stopped struggling and sighed in relief, as the arms around his hips loosened and eventually released him. "You shouldn't be here. How many times do I have to tell you?"
In an instant, Prince (M/N) had started sobbing and shaking, heart and body both trembling from such a disappointing welcome. Even so, Prince (M/N) had pushed aside any sadness and sorrow plaguing him, content enough already from having the opportunity of just laying eyes upon the love of his life. Extending his arms out, Prince (M/N) had smiled and gestured for the troubled vampire to come closer, desiring for the ivory haired boy to embrace him and never let go again. "It was so hard to sneak away out of the palace. There were guards swarming everywhere. But, I still came to you. Because, I love you!" Prince (M/N) cried out, while crumbling and collapsing onto the ground, as his (F/C) glittering and shimmering wings drooped down in heartache. "I thought you loved me! Why are you doing this to me, then? Why you letting them force me into marrying my betrothed? He's horrible, Subaru! I don't want to marry him! I'd rather die ... I'd rather die ..."
In due time, Prince (M/N) had been pulled into an embrace and comforted, fingers threading through his (H/C) silky locks and soothing him. Upon leaning more into the touch, Prince (M/N) had begun crying into the vampire's shoulder, teardrops staining and soaking into the crimson orbed boy's sweater. Even so, Prince (M/N) had been drawn closer and closer to the vampire, arms holding him tighter and tighter but still with careful gentleness. "I'm a monster, too! In fact, I'm no different from your betrothed," Subaru muttered, while Prince (M/N) frowned and started pounding his fists against the vampire's chest, as screams and shouts of frustration and despair escaped his mouth. "I'm sorry, my love. But, it is the truth. I am no different from your betrothed. You're better off with him, though."
In a moment, Prince (M/N) had stood up and glared down at the ivory haired vampire, teardrops rolling down his cheeks and splattering against the emerald green grass. However, Prince (M/N) had soon spun around and dashed towards the forest, unable to take the constant demeaning and degrading comments the love of his life made about himself. Even so, Prince (M/N) was soon caught captive and clutched tightly once more, entrapped and ensnared inside of the vampire's strong slender arms. "You always do this! You always say you're a monster! But, you're not a monster! You're really a sweetheart," Prince (M/N) confessed, while placing his hands against the vampire's soft cheeks, as the crimson orbed boy averted his eyes and looked away. "If you were a monster, then you wouldn't let me go into the arms of a stranger and believing you were somehow protecting me. Anyway, I'm a big boy. I can decide my own future and I want to be with you. Don't you want to be with me, too?"
Upon not receiving an answer, Prince (M/N) had sniffled and spun around again, slowly and steadily walking back towards the palace. However, Prince (M/N) was soon stopped and swept off of the ground, feet dangling in the air and body being bridal style carried towards the looming mansion ahead. Bursting into a smile, Prince (M/N) giggled and gave the vampire a kiss on the lips, teardrops of happiness now running down his cheeks. "You're always right," Subaru said, while walking towards the Sakamaki Mansion, as the (H/C) haired fairy grinned and wrapped his arms around the vampire's shoulders. "Welcome to your new home, (M/N) Sakamaki."
