Chapter 2

Three of the four remaining originals sat in what seemed to be the lounge room of the Mikaelson Manor. Rebekah and Niklaus where having one of their on going daily arguments over the little things that do not count so much at present time. With their brother being in the enermy's hands it made them much unsettled. Nikol lesser then her other siblings having not seen her brother in a long time and did not seem to doubt his safe return. She missed him though, as children he had raised them all, taught them the importance of family that Nikol had discarted as soon as she had gotten the chance. That morning Nikol was sitting down on the white sofa reading a difficult to her understanding romance novel written in this century trying to get up to date on this century's life.

“I cannot believe you disposed of those vampires without me. You know how I love to set things on fire.” Rebekah complained to the seemingly and suprisingly happy Klaus. They all knew he loved a good roast.

“Was I supposed to leave them in the front yard to rot? Besides, they were my responsibility. They attacked the helpless pregnant girl who's carrying my child.” Klaus said speaking like what a father should have been to him.

“Oh, I am so moved by your newfound sense of fatherly duties towards the werewolf carrying your hybrid bun in her oven.” Rebekah said raising her eyebrows. Nikol rolled her eyes at the two of them.

“You got something to add Nikolah?” Klaus asked after seeing Nikol’s irritated face.

“Nope, it just all seems to feel like déjà vu, only I would have seen many more of these arguments if I hadnt been so occupied for the past 400 years.” she said with a deathly glare on her face. Then on a more happy note she smiled impressed with herself for using a new word she had recently learned.

“Oh look she learned a new word” Klaus said teasing Nikol who rolled her eyes for the second time. "Though I would find you could not have been seeing these arguments daggered or undead." He said refering to the many times she had run away from her home.

“You try being locked inside a coffin for 400 years and then waking up to find your sister and a shewolf wearing skimpy clothing straight from the whore house and to find that it is simply known as a  ‘top notch get up'” she told them in an American accent that she had picked up from hearing Hayley's constent bickering.

“The werewolf would like to know what the plan is.” Hayley said walking into the room.

“Well, that depends what plan you mean, love: My plan for global domination, Nikolah’s plan to run away the next chance she gets or Rebekah's plan to find love in a cruel, cruel world.” He said sweetly causing Rebekah to throw a pencil straight at Klaus who catched it easily.

“The plan to rescue Elijah. You know, the good brother. The one who is now in the possession of your mortal enemy after you stabbed him in the back.” Hayley said glaring at Klaus.

“In the front, if we're being specific.” Klaus said smirking.

“Only you Klaus, could joke about Elijah’s welfare, what of the time he looked out for yours? ” Nikol quesioned glaring at him along with Hayley.

"Don't worry though, leave it to Elijah to get himself out of his own mess, he has always been able to negotiate on behalf of himself."

"You mean to bore themselfs to sleep and then make  his getaway. Though she is right there could always be more pressing matters at hand then my dear brother. I sugest we leave this debate for a later date." His lack of intrest appauled Hayley to no end as her glare stopped any other thought from crossing Niklaus's head.
