It's my first day of chemotherapy..
I hope everything will be okay..

I grabbed my phone which is on the table and dialed my parents number..

It's 9 am here..
9 pm there..
I hope that my parents aren't asleep..

"Yeoboseyo?"

I sighed relieve..

"Omma..."

'Oh Hana-ah..I thought it was someone else.."

"Haha..I changed my number..Omma, did I wake you up?"

'No..I was reading actually..but your dad is asleep..'

"Aaahhh..I wanted to talk to appa tho.."

'Do you want me to wake him up?'

"No it's okay..I just wanted to tell you that my chemotherapy will start today.."

'Hana-ah..I'm sorry for not being able to be there for you..'

"It's okay omma...JungHyuk oppa and Chaeyeon unnie can take care of me."

*knock knock*

Chaeyeon unnie walks in..

'Who's that'
She mouthed..

'Omma..'
I said..

'Cam I talk to her?'
She asked and I gave her my phone..

I signaled her that I'm going change..

I took Hana's phone and started the conversation...

"Annyeong haseyo..Omma-nim..This is Chaeyeon.."

'Oh Chaeyeon-ah..I haven't heard from you for awhile..'

"I'm doing fine..How are you and uncle?"

'We're doing just fine..Chaeyeon-ah... About Hana..'

"Don't worry..I'm going to take good care of her.."

'Please do...If we're free, we'll be coming down to New York..'

"Sure...Omma-nim..We need to go now..Do you want to speak with Hana?"

'No..It's okay...Tell her that we'll be supporting her here in Seoul..'

"I will.."

'Thank you Chaeyeon-ah..'

"It's my pleasure to help omma-nim.."

And with that, she ended the call..

I placed back Hana's phone on her bed..

"Hana-ah..I'll wait downstairs.."

I said and close the bedroom door..

"Good morning."
She greeted..

She sat beside Mrs.Kim.

"Are you ready for your first treatment?" Mr.Kim asked..

"Well..I'm a bit scared.."
Hana said lowering down her head..

"Everything's going to be just fine..I promise you.."
Chaeyeon said while stuffing her mouth with the omelettes her mom cooked..

"Omg. It's already 9. We need to go.."
Chaeyeon said getting up from her sit..

Hana nods and excuses herself..
