Chapter 18: I Quit!

Hina awoke bright and early in the morning, skipping to school with her step-sister Haruhi close by. They walked into the huge school, everything was normal, but it had an eerie feeling to it. They walked down the long hallways, something seemed to be a miss.

"Does this place seem different to you?" Hina blinked.

"Yeah, its quiet for once" Haruhi said wide eyed. "Now would be a good time to go to the library!" she exclaimed, running off.

"H-Haruhi-chan!" Hina screamed chasing after her. They ventured inside only to crash into a group walking out.

"Ugh!" one cried with disgust. "it touched me" she spat.

"It?" Hina arched an eyebrow.

"Yes, It. The commoner touched me" she rolled her eyes.

"Who are you to say something like that about her?" Hina demanded.

"H-Hina-senpai its okay" Haruhi muttered. "I dont care."

"Im Karariri Yami Hibari. And believe me you'll be hearing from me again. There's nothing I hate more than people as stupid as you who dont know when to be quiet." she retorted. "Now get out of my way"

"And if I dont?" Hina challenged.

"Then i'll prove I have a black belt" Karariri growled, handing Hitomi her books.

"Hina stop it" a voice chimed.

"No, she needs to stop" Hina protested.

"No. You need to stop" Kyouya sighed sadly, taking Karariri's hand in his. Hina stared in disbelief.

"Kyouya-senpai what are you doing?" she gasped.

"Walking his girlfriend to class" Karariri smirked. "thanks for moving" The three other girls followed, pushing past Hina with disgust on their faces, the whole library in chaos as the students grabbed their stuff to follow them. The library emptied quickly, leaving the two bewildered girls inside. Haruhi turned to Hina, expecting to see tears.

"Hina-senpai..." she trailed off.

"Its okay Haruhi" she assured her, walking out seeming perfectly fine. That's how Hina always was, and always would be. Kept to herself. She went through her classes, dealing with Karariri all day. She sat in math, looking away from the two "lovers".

"Kyouya-senpai! Why the sudden change in attitude? At that expo you acted like you hated me" Karariri pouted.

"Well my love, I-I realized how cunning and beautiful, a-and amazing you are" he stated simply, unable to look up.

"Alright umm no" she rolled her eyes. "Its over if that's really how you're going to be about this. Have fun being the third son" she waved as she left the classroom a few minutes early.

"W-wait!" Kyouya stammered, jumping up. "Karariri!" he shouted as he ran out. Hina watched in silence, gathering clues but still unable to put them all together.

"Hello" Hitomi greeted and sat beside her.

"H-Hello" Hina mumbled, unable to look at her. "What do you want?"

"Just to say a few things" Hitomi looked at her curiously. "Are you Kyouya's ex girlfriend?"

"No.." Hina trailed off.

"Then why do you keep looking over there at him like if he's yours?" Hitomi  interogated.

"Look I really dont want to talk about this" Hina bit her lip and ran out, a few minutes late for hosting. She walked inside and of course, there she was. Hina was now wearing her "Kazuya" costume, so she had to behave differently. Karariri's eyes flickered over her, already figuring it out in a few seconds.
