Chapter 3:Olive Garden (Maya)

Maya Pov

So after school my dad texts me and told me to meet him at Olive Garden at 6:00 p.m. I asked Chris to take me home to get dressed and if he would take me to the restaurant. He gladly said that he would love to do that for the second most important girl in his life. He is so sweet! Anyway, i went and showered and got dressed into this

-a floral maxi dress 

-gold wedges 

-gold jewelry 

I flat ironed my hair and curled my bangs backwards in a flip style. I grabbed my IPhone and walked outside wtih Chris and he took me to Olive Garden. Before I got out, Chris pulled me back and we had a mini make-out session. I pulled backa nd looked at him before smiling, saying goodbye,and letting out of his vehicle. I went into the resturant and I didn't see my dad. i figured since it was only 5:45, that he may be running a little bit late. I looked up and saw this waitress holdign a sign with my name on it. I thought that was weird, but I walked up to her anyway. 

"Are you Maya Wells?" She asked me 

I nodded and she escorted me to a table with four chairs. I was a little confused until I remembered that my dad said that I was meeting someone. I sat down and played temple run on my phone for a little bit. While I was getting into the game I heard choas. I looked up and saw my friend, Caleb, being surrounded by a lot of people. I wondered what he was doing here. I then saw him being escorted to my table by another waitress. I looked up and the waitress said that our parents would be here in a moment.I looked at Caleb confused and he returned the look. Before I had the chance to say anything, My dad and Caleb's mom walked up holding hands. I looked at my dad with wide eyes and i kept looking at their hands when I saw this big ring on Oleta's finger with the wedding band. My dad was about to say something, I stood up and walked outside. I heard Caleb following behind me. I was about to call Chris, when Caleb offered me a ride to Chris' house and I accepted. I got into the car and we pulled off. The car was silent and awkward. Caleb started talking

"what just happened in there?" he asked

"our parents got married and didn't think about telling us before hand" I said looking straight out the window.

"was your dad acting weird this morning like my mom was" he asked

"yup" I replied still looking out of the window

"are you okay?" he asked stopping at the red light

"nope, I just dont want to talk about this" I said rudley still looking out the window. I really was mad and confused. We pulled up at Chris' House and I finally lookked at Caleb with a straight face and I said, " Let's just keep this a secret and don't tell anybody. I wouldn;t want our reputations to be ruined over a stupid desicion." Before he could ask any thiing I got out of the car slamming the door behind me. I didn't look back. I walked up to Chris' door and knocked. It was a quarter to 7 o'clock so i know the should be up. He came to the door and invited me in and we went up to his room. Apparently, his mother was out of town so it was just us there. I took a shower and changed into some clothes that I left over here. I layed in his bed while he sat on the edge and looked at me 

"Bae, what's wrong?" he asked with concern

I looked at him and put my face in the pillow and spoke really loud, "My dad got married" 

"To who baby?" he asked me while laying down with me 

I wanted to tell him but I told Caleb not to tell anybody so I just said that I didn't want to talk about it. He looked at me and then at my lips and leaned in. I felt our lips meet and he climbed on top of me without breaking the kiss. Things started to get heated and then I felt his had creep up my thigh and I came to my senses. I pulled away from the kiss and looked at him and he knew what that ment. He got off of me. 

"I'm sorry baby" he said so sincerely

"It's okay" I said snuggling up in his chest and falling asleep
