Chapter 5:Home Coming Week (Maya)

*TWO WEEKS LATER EARLY MONDAY MORNING*

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" I screamed in the phone with Caleb on the other line.

"Dang why you screamimg like you crazy?" Caleb said aggravated. 

"IT'S HOMECOMING WEEK!!!!" I yelled super excitedly. I could tell Caleb rolled his eyes because he sighed deeply.

"Yeah yeah, whatever" he said not really caring, "I will see you at school in a lil' bit"

"Okay" l said hanging up the phone and runnign into my bathroom to get ready for today! I was so excited because this week we can show our school spirit and show how much me support our team. Today was Black and White Day. I took a shower and and brushed my teeth and put on this:

-a white solid crop top

-black and white saggy pants

-a black beanie over my straight hair

- black and white jewelry

-black Vans

I walked downstairs and grabbed my phone  and saw Chris eating cereal watching t.v. I've been staying with him for a while until I am ready to go back until my dad's. He calls all the time but I just don't want to talk to him really. Anyway I went and sat by Chris and he looked at me in my outfit.

"Dang baby! You go that school spirit huh?" he said laughing at me putting his bowl away and grabbing his keys.

I laughed, "I guess, Since I am running for queen this year, I want everyone to know that I am all for the school" I said following Chris to his car and before we got, he pulled me to him and kissed me with alot of passion and he got into it and pushed me on the car deepening the kiss. He then pulled my legs around his waist pushed hisself on me more. I was so into it that I didn't notice that were outside. I finally came to my senses and pushed him off me and smiled getting in the car. He laughed and got into the car, pulled off , and we were on our way to school. We pulled up and Chris went to hang with his teamates and I just went to my locker. While I got my history book out, I saw Savannah coming up to me smiling. 

"Hey!!! You ready for Wednesday?!" she asked me so happily.

"Yes!!!!! girl"I said all too happy. Wednesday was when everyone will be voting for homecoming king and queen and both me and Savannah were running for queen. It didn't put a dent in our friendship though. 

*Lunch*

The Dance Team, football team, basketball team, and the cheerleaders all sat together at one table. We do this every year for homecomming week to show school spirit. We were laughing and talking about our friend's haircut when two seniors who got kicked off the teams came up to us adn started talking iabout the basketball team. They were Marcus and Malik. 

"I don't know what the basketball team thinks they will be doing this season. They suck anyway" said Marcus loudly for everyone to hear.

Chris stood up and said "Cuhh shut up! You just mad because your a dumb senoir who got kicked off the team for bad grades. Where they do that at?" 

Everybody laughed. I didn' t though. I think this is about to end badly. Chris don't play about his team. 

Caleb also stood up and said " Chris, he ain't even worth it. Don't pay any attetion to that dummy" 

OMG this isn't going well

"Bro you need to worry about your stuck up girlfriend, you too Chris" said Malik

Everything got silent until I saw Chris jump across the table and throw a hard punch at Malik making him fall on the floor. Marcus tried to jump on Chris but Caleb hit Marcus before he could get to Chris. I saw Savannah start crying and getting really scared, so I had to go and take her to the nurse before she had a panic attack. I heard from the cafeteria, people cheering Chris and Caleb on encouraging them to win the fight. I was so mad at them. They didn't have to do that, so now they won't be able to go to homecoming and me and Savannah were going to be going by ourselves. 

*Afterschool*

Me and Savannah were about to go to her house. Savannah and I saw on our phones missed calls from the boys and we just decided to ignore them for awhile.
