The hosts had each group sitting on either side of them, with the two hosts in the middle. With twenty six people in the studio, Baby Lips sat on the right side in chairs that made them look as though they were sitting on risers. The back row was taller than the front row. EXO was seated in the same way with their leaders sat closest to the MC's.

Sun glanced at Yixing every now and then, while he kept his dark eyes trained on the ground. The hosts often had to remind him to look up at the camera. When Sun caught a glimpse of his face, she could see a hint of dark circles under his eyes from a combination of tiredness, a lack of sleep, and the terrible mood which he was currently in. As much as she tried to make contact with him, he continued to avoid her eyes, which wasn't too much of a surprise considering that EXO was supposed to hate Baby Lips.

For the first part of the show, they had the two best dancers out of each group battle against each other. They were Jongin and Yixing out of EXO, while Baby Lips sent Yunseo and Suk--whose stage names were Yoona and Kia--forward. 

"Kia against Kai." Junmyeon made a terrible joke, and the only one who laughed was Sarang. But she tried to hide it by covering her lips.

The boys were asked to perform one of Baby Lips' dances, while the girls were asked to perform one of EXO's dances. Since both were always aware of what the other group was doing, it came as no surprise to the MC's that they knew each other's dance moves. 

Yixing was the first to make a mistake, since he was in no mood to dance. Instead he quietly returned to his seat in the second row. Next was Yoona, until it was Kai and Kia dancing against each other. It became a competitive battle with neither side wanting to give up. At that point both were dancing to EXO's Growl, with the other members watching them as though in a trance. Both their movements were precise, but they were especially impressed with Kia who had learned their dances from just watching their videos and criticizing them for it.

By the end of the song, the MC's had decided that both sides had won.

Both groups talked about their winter album, Miracles in December for EXO and Fum! Fum! Fum! for Baby Lips. 

Filming had to be halted for the better of ten minutes when Jongin made a comment about how their album title was terrible, and how they'd probably only sell twelve albums--the ones they would probably buy for their families to listen to. That comment set off Rin and Suk who jumped out of their seats and started yelling at the EXO member. 

They had to be held back by Junmyeon and Saris who were asking for them to calm down.

"Fum means smoke in Catalan, from the mountain regions of eastern Spain, you uncultured cave man." Rin hissed, trying her best to insult him without using profanity, since the cameras were still rolling. She doubted their fight would make it onto the final cut though. "Of course you wouldn't know that its a beautiful traditional Christmas song."

Jongin laughed and crossed his arms over his chest. "Someone get this girl to a mad house before she kills us all." His group members nodded in agreement, except Junmyeon, Yixing, Lu Han, and Tao.

"If I go, I'm taking you with me." Rin hissed at him.

Still holding her group mate back with one arm, Sarang face palmed herself. She thought to use the opportunity of having both groups there together to smooth out their differences. Now they were more at each other's throats than ever.

It took several minutes, but the two rival group members managed to calm down.

The third segment was something that the MC's called an obstacle variety contest. "We'll divide you all into groups of two," One of them explained, but everyone's complaints arose when he specified, "Groups of one boy and one girl."
