Erin's POV

Its been a couple hours since his mother and I found out about how he's stage four, and how he also needs to stay in the hospital until he's either recovering or until he passes. I just hope it's not the latter. I hear shuffling around, I look up to see Dylan is now awake. I stand up from the chair and walk to his bedside, "Hey Dylan..." He looks at me with a confused look on his face. "Why am I here?" He holds my hand and intertwines our fingers. "Well, a few hours ago you started coughing up... Well, blood." He frowned,

"Wait, what? Is my leukemia worse?" I nod a bit, "Yeah.. It's stage four now and they thinks its best to stay here until you either show signs of recovery or... You know..." He looks down, I notice he has a nasal cannula giving him oxygen. Those are the small things that go in your nose and help give the person oxygen, I did some research for some reason. "Oh, well, I guess I'm not getting better.." He frowns even more and grabs his water bottle but doesn't pick it up, "Is everything okay?" He shake his head weakly. "I can't pick it up..." He's that weak?

I pick up the water bottle and open the cap, I held it up to his mouth and he drank some, I closed the cap and put it back on the small table. I can tell he's losing hope in surviving, but he's still fighting. "Can you go back to the house and grab my laptop, phone, stuff you know I like?" I nod and press my lips to his briefly. I walk out of his room and a tear rolls down my cheek, but I quickly wipe it away. It's so hard seeing him this way. Please get better...
